@bhlakbatosai I disagree, if we had a mix of his corpse like movement in this game and the levitating of MKX would be perfect for me. Still also hope we get a few Ninja skins for him including the scrapped MK11 skin
It does seem they are at least heading in that direction, at least slowly, since Shujinko, Reptile, and Scorpion are all getting new moves and strings.

Out of all the DLC characters-don’t get me wrong I loved them all-Ermac, Homelander and Takeda stood out to me the most. As a newcomer to MK, Ermac’s backstory, him as a character and how he plays always fascinated me, so I eagerly awaited his next iteration. Same with Takeda, with the added bonus of him being one of the best Kombat Kids so far. And his connections with Kenshi and Scorpion bolster that. And Homelander, because I love him from The Boys. His sheer brutality in the show is gonna be a treat to see in-game, despite him not being as well-versed in combat as the rest of the cast.
Can I just say that I love these kinds of videos? The stream clips are of course fun, but this different style of Max where there's no chat and it's much more focused on a topic is very good. Super professional sounding and concise. I want him to make more of these.

Even if I do like clone characters in fighting games, It is nice to see that all of the ninjas are now vastly as unique as can be (We just need male Khameleon and Noob now to finish off the ninja rainbow)
It’s cool Max gets these opportunities, but it’s also really cool to see him have first impressions on stream. I know he doesn’t have a lot of time to play in these events so that makes up for it I suppose.
His helms are customisable. He is a very flashy character. Unfortunately, just like the other dlc characters, they do not have access to seasonal items nor do they give you dragon crystals at level 20 and cap at 20 in their mastery level.
@@Don-yt4vyit was barely noticeable. Scorpion got a new mid string. Rain got one from mk11 & new move, Reptile got the acid spit & air fang invisibility cancel.

@@bhlakbatosai from what i've seen from people who main rain and reptile those moves had made a big difference for them. it may not be noticeable to people who don't play those characters but for those who its makes difference for them.
I understand the why's of it, but man, I really wish every character was this seeming level of complete. Seem like since they've got so much more time on these DLC's, they have so much more meat to them.
I feel like our boy Takeda gonna be cool af, I'll propably get the game around that time so I'll have atleast two characters to play along the copium of a Cyborg or Triborg happens in the next season that isnt Frost
So far I think the dlc character from MK are getting really nice ! Predator Alien are imo still one of the best but MK1 dlc are fudging nice !! Look at my boy ermac !
Ermac feels weird in this game like something’s missing from him. Not saying he’s not fun with the cancels but not a fan of nrs making a guy typically with ranged moves a rush down cancel heavy character. Great vid.
Having seen SonicFox play Ermac, the potential for his gameplay is GODLY. Unfortunately his gear is kinda hit-or-miss - we made the right call campaigning for the mask on his default.
This is a Sanic movie transformation moment. IMO his season pass reveal was really disappointing. He kinda just looked like budget Kahn-Rah (sp?). But now he looks badass. Good job NRS
Agreed but at least he doesn’t have too much time to mess around at these events. It’s cool he gets these opportunities but I do kinda wish we could see his initial reactions.
Seriously hoping that Kombat Pack 2 isn't bogged down by 3 more guest characters as NRS tends to do. I understand why we "need" to have them, but man the most excitement I've felt about this game is seeing Ermac and Quan-Chi do cool new shit. My reaction to Quan Chi actually being a fun and unique character was way better than watching Omni Man and Peacemaker do the same one fucking combo that takes 10+ seconds to complete. Bring the MK cast back, enough guests. People miss characters like Jade, Noob, and Skarlet. But I'm sure they'll be shafted in favor of... I dunno. Fucking Ghostface from Scream or something.
As ugly as he was first reveal this is growing on me, the jade color skin and spirit stuff mixed with the contrast blacks and reds honestly work in a weird way
