Thank you so so much for this video. I've had an InStyler for over a year now & when I 1st tried it out, i just couldn't seem to get my hair to look good. So I put it away & forgot about it up until about a month ago. I watched a few videos & practiced & practiced until I started coming out with hair that looked pretty good & somewhat close to the look I was going for. And although I was tolerating how my hair turned out, I wasn't loving it & thought I'd try to find a video that I haven't seen before. Your's came up & I was so impressed with how your hair turned out & with how well you explained everything that I let my InStyler heat up so that I could watch your video again & follow along w/ what you were showing. I tried all 3 ways that you taught & love them all. Now I'm excited to use the InStyler every time I can escape from quarantine for a little! I'm sorry for the length of this but if you don't mind, I do have a question- as I said, I started using the instyler about a month or 2 ago. My hair is not too fine, nor is it very thick, I guess it's somewhere in between. And although my curls have really calmed down over these last few years, I still have naturally curly hair. It is not in great condition/health, but it doesn't look or feel like it's very dry or damaged. I use the instyler on the 2nd heat setting, wrap sections around, close it & hold for about 7-10 seconds. I do not use it daily, there is always at least several days in between uses & I don't use any other heat during those off days. And about 2 weeks ago I noticed that large sections of my hair had somehow broken off. All of the hair along the right side of my hairline has gone from well below shoulders to about 1/2-1 inch long. All of the length has broken off & I'm freaking out! I always use some kind of thermal protectant & the follow directions. I could be wrong but am assuming it is from using the InStyler.. has anybody else had this happen? Or have any advice for me? I don't like my natural curls & want to continue using the instyler for more of a wavy look. I'm hoping that stopping using it is not my only option to prevent further breakage but if that is the case, I guess I'll just have to stop anyway. Not sure if anyone will see or bother reading this but I wanted to thank you for the great video & also beg for some advice. Thank you so much

hi Jasmine! thank you so much for your wonderful comment. we are so glad this video helped you master your hair! typically, causes of breakage range from temperature, direction of the barrel, gliding down the hair too fast, or if your hair is damp from product. suggestions would be to make sure your hair is as dry as possible before styling. make sure you are gliding the tool down your hair slowly and hold for no more than 5-8 seconds. we hope this helps!

Can you demonstrate how to add volume at the root areas using this tool? Also, should we add product to wet hair, before using this tool? Thanks.
