Even tho it does clash, he’s definitely not gonna focus on MK1 gameplay soley for the sake of not getting age restricted. I hope he does take time to play Brawler just so he has some safer videos
I'm honestly excited about Brawler, possibly more than any other DNF Duel character (give or take Dragon Knight or Ranger). I really like the modern thug fighting style with chains and the spike bat.
@@kairishinbloodwolf3005 I only know him from his Tekken 7 announcement and an SNL sketch with Dave Chappelle. And I think the fact Brawler is still matching a blatant fantasy setting probably makes him appeal more to me.
I feel like with this game, each dev was tasked with going thru DFO and finding a character they wanted to bring into the game, but your character has to beat all the other devs' characters in a survival mode to get your character in the game 🤣
I swear the devs or the marketing team are purposely choosing the shittiest release schedules for their DLC’s. First one clashed with Sf6 release and now this is going to clash with MK1’s release, like why would people spend more money on a game with such low player count and potential
Yeah I've never understood that. Dude gets clapped for most of the screentime. Then barely gets to do anything. The first one it took 15 seconds for them to even get to do one move. It's baffling

It’s because they originally had no plans for post launch content. Usually post launch plans are laid out and it is being worked on before the game even launches so they can have it ready fairly soon after launch but they didn’t do that with this game and it hurt it big time
Honestly better mobility would make this game a lot less annoying for me to play. Faster walk speeds and maybe air blocking would make this a fantastic game for me. But after maxing out on ranked on the 1st month, I got burned out.
Man, DNF looks fun and all, but they really have to do something or else nobody is going to play it. They need to do a big sale or permanently reduce the price or something. Unless you have some friends to play it with, it's just not worth the money
It sucks Cause By the time I got the game and Started playing January of this year I can not get any ranked matches. So I"m stuck Playing offline with my Son or Occasionly run a lobby with my son's friend and him. Literally There is no way to Just go online and Grind to get good at his game which sucks.
@@gstellar96 and that was cool, but it didn't last. At least on steam, idk about console, there's only a max of 40 people playing at once. That's just not sustainable. Even GBVS has more players on steam and gets a big influx every couple months when they make the game like $3
@@Cloudstrifehy3 Exactly. I love this game's mechanics and art and how it plays, but I can't play against anyone. It's hard to convince your friends to buy and learn a fighting game that is, in many respects, just straight up dead. It's such a cool game, but how do they expect to make any money with these dlc characters if nobody even buys the base game
Seriously that's when i pick up fighting games when they go on sale I don't really play online and play with friends offline so it's a perfect buy when they go on sale

I'm getting really tired of the doomposting. It's a god damn anime fighter. They have the shelf life of about 3 months at most before becoming discord fighters. Despite that the game is getting new content, that should be celebrated.

Games getting new content not because the devs want to grow the game or try to save it but because either it was already planned and in dev or cause of sunk cost fallacy

Yean, Gear is always weird like that. Most games it feels like everyone playing the same game (except one or two characters). Gear has always felt the opposite.
He’s a cool character in all but are people gonna actually get online and play because every time I try to find player match or rank games I can never find anyone 😢… I love this game is still have high hopes

Gameplay is always great to see, but this did nothing to show his capabilities. Dude was getting beat up through most the video. Same thing happened with spectre.
I really wanted to like this game more but its literally a MVC stile touch of death combo game pretending its a more traditional no air dash or double jump fighter.
Ive never understood when theyre doing a showcase type thing that they dont let the character do what we're supposed to see right off the jump. It took about 15 seconds for Brawler to get to do anything. Some of them the showcase character get clapped for half of it too 😂
I must be some kind of boomer, cuz when somebody tells me "in this game, you're gonna hate fighting against EVERYBODY'" like... that just sounds like not a fun game to me 🤷♂
rev2 and sf4 are the only games I never hated fighting any other character (except maybe some weird characters like Hakan and Faust cause no one played them and they were fucking weird)
I was born in Japan and considering our limitless porn industry, women with eye patches are too immediately sexual for me i wouldn't be able to think about anything else playing as or against her. Better that it's a guy
I mean you wouldn't design a character who fights in a condom skirt, you wouldn't put your Loli service character in a thong, as exciting as these things can be it's too distracting for a fighting game
Idk really anything about enchantress but damn that looks annoying to fight against. I can’t wrap my brain around puppet characters like her and because of that anytime I’m matched up against 1 in any game I struggle. Also just as a side note I feel like they kinda fumbled with this game. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good game but it was a mistake to have zero plans for post launch content because now ever since launch they’ve been playing catch up trying to get us more content and characters. There was like a full year of just nothing which is a death sentence for a fighting game in the modern era
SF 6 has gotten to the point I'm lucky to win 1 or 2 matches in the time that I play...and I'm not a super hardcore player going into ranked or anything I'm just playing Battle Hub for kudos and to have some fun. I play SF6 for maybe an hour at max on a good day...especially during the summer when I'm trying to limit how much energy I'm using to keep the bill lower by even 2 or 3 bucks.
I hope your financial situation improves, i always forget how lucky I am to have been born into a family where I never have to worry about anything and don't realize how much I take it for granted until i see stuff like this
you have made a grave misunderstanding. Battle hub isnt where you go to avoid try hards. Ranked mode is where you would go if you wanted to avoid getting stomped all day. Battle hub exists for the chaos of wild public matches and to allow for a more community feel. You should be playing ranked if you just want to get on and run some matches a bit.
This game is so dead it's a really hard Sell even for a character like this. Like MK is gonna be out soon even when this character drops the 12 players (at peak 24 players) will likely be GONE when MK is on the scene. I really like this character too he definitely would be my true main for this game but...after everything I said and saw it's not worth it 😔
nah, what ruined the game is that on release it was absolute ass. halfscreen normals with no movement, anime pressure with no defensive mechanic and a guard gauge that breaks with a true blockstring, said blockstrings and combos were way too long, and fucking swiftmaster. also the game had no content for full price. now it's only kinda ass, but SF6 is a game that exists.

It's especially sad as most characters have a good chance against each other, even when they're at a disadvantage in the match-up. It made sense why in some older FGs, people only play certain characters, but for that to be the case in SF6 is strange.
It pissed me off tbh I couldn’t rematch anyone and no menu showed up postmatch so I had to wait the timer out every match At that point I passed the refund line and never got into it despite my previous hype. Doesn’t look like it’s coming back anytime soon either so RIP that 60 dollars
@@gengarisnotinsmash... definitely I was mashing the first few times it happened and then accepted my fate. This was launch week so I was assuming it was a bug but at that point I couldn’t do anything but wait both for matches and patches and I just lost interest.
There's way too many fullscreen options in this game, it takes away so much from a fighter imo. MOVEMENT should be distinct, you should be able to identify a top player from a casual by movement alone, combos are easy most of the time in games anyway after a while.
