I'm grinding hard now to get gold and weapon experience to change some of the slots! Unfortunately since the crit modifiers everyone is telling me to test out and put on here requires Almandine chips, I have to farm some more catalysts and re-level the weapon to 40 a couple of times to replace my other slots which have different module types assigned to them. I'm also trying a couple new Ultimate modules, so please wait! I'll work hard to grind it out and post a comparison video soon with the changes everyone advised.

Wow! I admire your commitment and effort to literally max out this thing with all the module slots and ultimate ability - that's some CRAZY investment! Love to see some Beam- love tho! Underrated

I would always bypass the beam rifle. Till I reluctantly tried it and MANNNN it immediately became one of my favorite!!!! I'm currently farming for the Clairvoyance. Thanks for the video!!

Thank you, for some reason I assumed it would get me faster to phase 3 of charging, but I never tested it and just assumed... Whoops haha... I'm going to try replacing some stuff with CRIT rate/dmg mods and see how things go!
Np. You have Super Conductivity module for that. The thing is that only the faze 3 of the weapon applies the 90% slow. So if you burn the bullets fast, then you'll have munition problem, and you keep the boss slowed for less time because of the fast fire rate.

I think what I'll do is start putting in crit rate, crit hit, and there's also one more increased magazine size I can squeeze in that is allowed to be put in along with the blue one I already have, so that should help me stay in phase 3 longer, I think. I'll upload a comparison test video soon! Gonna farm more gold tonight so I can upgrade some modules and make the changes!
Really well made video! As you asked for feedback, here we go! I took a look at clairvoyance ingame and I see it has a base weak point damage of 1x, but it has 20% crit and 2x crit damage, I also made some testing ingame to see how some things work. There are my findings: 1. elemental damage doesn't get increased with firearm atk (exception being enhancement modules as they give damage based on your firearm atk), so be aware that all the increased firearm atk modules do not increase the cold damage from the weapon substat. 2. elemental damage does not get bonus damage from weak point 3. elemental damage can crit In the game options you can change how damage is displayed so elemental damage appears as a different number if you want tho take a look at these things for yourself. I would take off the weak point sight module, maybe also snowflake conductor in favor of crit modules Hope it helped!

also if you use the infinite ammo trick you dont need to slot in those 2 magazine mod ,its a bit anoying to do the trick but with more slot for modding i think it will boost the damage of the weapon even further ,maybe put in crit mods for those 2 slot.
Well, it's slightly improved in my new build comparison video, but yeah, it's definitely not overpowered like some much easier to get and mod guns, and definitely not with the amount of time and effort you have to put into it. Check out the new build, slightly better, but most probably still won't like it. You be your own judge
He didn’t build the gun properly. Saw someone else use it on pyro and so much better. It’s no Lepic, but it was okay. I’ve got mine almost fully maxed and it’s fun to use as a change of pace.
Yeah, I get you, for how much investment it takes, it SHOULD be a lot stronger, I can say the same thing for Ultimate Viessa... Sadly their sense of game balance doesn't seem great, as the whole game seems revolved around Bunny and Gley haha... On one of my Molten Fortress group runs, the gleys i was playing with told me i bought the wrong ultimate and that I need to go play gley instead... feelsbadman :(

They need to get rid of the negative effects on ult weapons it makes a lot feel really bad, if the positives aren't enough to make people farm multiple copies then its not really that ultimate in the first place😢
I really do agree, these weapons should be a lot more powerful IMO, it would make them more worthwhile and satisfactory to farm for and build up and play with.

You actualy Wanne lower thé fire rate on beamrifles cos 1 Ammo is not one tick you get multiple ticks in one Ammo usage and if you lower thé fire rate you get much more ticks in one ammo
I think sharp precision shot is a great mod for this personally because of that. Lower fire rate through the first couple phases, and increased everything bonus by the time you're in phase 3
Honestly, it's a fun gun and as an Ultimate Viessa main, I have no regrets. However, I agree with you that for most people, I would not recommend grinding for the weapon, let alone 5 copies haha... Just pick up a random Tamer or something else, unlock Gley and get her a launcher, and you're already broken powerful.
You hold the keys to better understanding this weapon so if possible i would like you to try some things out in a build. someone commented reduce fire rate, so if fire rate doesn’t increase beam rifle speed to get to stage 3, then removing it increases your time in stage 3. Now i want to suggest trying a better special mod then snowflake conductor, try frigid burn, It literally sounds based off description like it was made for the clairvoyance. If you do have a gley, then i would recommend trying sharp precision shot, as at the 5 second mark you will have 20% extra fire rate ,60% firearm attack, and i’m assuming you will be stage 3 by then, and since gley has infinite ammo, fire rate isn’t a problem if you were to build it with gley.Dont build for weak point damage as you only have a 1x multiplier, lean in to the crit side, as although 20% isn’t amazing, it’s not bad either. If you take only one thing away from this switch out your special mod
I will try my best to adjust the weapon to everyone's suggestions and then upload another video later! The problem right now is that I'm out of gold (have tons of kuiper), so I need to go grind a few more hours so I can upgrade more mods to switch in and test. It's going to be a slow upgrade process, but I'll start with the crits since it's a surefire thing, and then after I'll test out frigid burn! Time to go farm, and thank you for the advice! Edit:The 25m range thing on Frigid Burn is kind of hard to use, but I think I might be able to make Sharp Precision Shot kind of work!
Can you tell me which mod slots the clairvoyance starts with mod slots? Im going for the trophy for 10 and cant remember which slots came with premade ones so i can over lap them
Honestly it's been so long that I don't remember which ones it came with at the start, sorry... T_T Not sure if there's a way to check besides building another at this point...
Just a really strange weapon class that just doesnt seem to fit anywhere. Shame because the idea is cool just poor execution. Hopefully they'll get s buff.

Well, I did improve the build in the new build comparison mod, but yes, in general unless you're a Viessa enjoyer, who isn't meta anyway and the devs completely ignore, then I probably wouldn't recommend this gun for most people

It's the hard version, you literally see me going through the menus to it. The normal version is really really quick and easy in comparison LOL You can also see the pattern I open from it and the loot. Hard mode only. Nice try though on the troll =P

I've improved the damage on the comparison side-by-side video thingy I made, if you want to check it out. It's still not super powerful like some guns out there, but it's fun to use!
Well, I made another video with a slightly better build based on everyone's recommendations. Of course it's probably nowhere near all the overpowered builds and guns and characters, but if you at least want to see what it does slightly better, please check it out!
thank you for pointing that out, I forgot the settings reset every time you go in and that it was level one. I'm not trying to "prove" anything just showcase a fun weapon not many people are using. I realize either way it's not that strong compared to some of the beasts out there, but since I couldn't find any videos on it, I decided to make one.
It's a fun gun to use, based on everyone's comments my mods are all wrong so I'm working on fixing it. I'll make a new comparison video soon, having to farm 2 catalysts and tons of gold to fix it. Yes, probably still worse than a tamer overall, but still a fun gun, and great for Viessa enjoyers.
