I know this is an old video but people are using single sided clutches in 68rfe transmissions in high horsepower stuff with this drum with no problems. Tuning is the key to making these live with added power.

Just watch for first time from Australia I am just experiencing this failure in my 08Ram Because this is such a huge problem why not a class action or something to mak them fix it But no action like the grid heater bolt failure on the Cummins that Hail Banks has a fix for Car makers an engineer's make me wild. So you have changed the clutch material from the original drum? The clutches that came with my Sonnax drum were dark gray if I remember right. I had the 3-4 squawk too but that seems to be better. I can't remember for sure but I think Sonnax tech support told me to add some lube gaurd the the trans fluid.

Hi I recently had an remanufactured jasper trans with all the sonnax upgrades . It has the squeaking sound from 3rd to 4th gear. How long till that fades? I currently have 200 miles on trans
