@@declanrex9435(SPOILERS) So what they said in the vault 4 experiment logs was that they tried to mix people with DNA of “radiation resistant” creatures, or something like that. So I took the gulpers to be the result of using axolotl dna.

This show is beyond perfection. It was one of few video games that earned an adaptation and this one was crafted flawlessly. Kudos to the production for making this happen.

@@justastranger101 Agreed. Good adaptation, but needs some tweaking. Power armour should be a lot stronger than depicted in season 1. Became a bit of a joke tbh.

@@user-ds8rj2vc4v I think power armour is strong enough, after all, maximus squished someone's head with it and it helped a guy withstand a bear attack (the mutant's name is weird and i forgot it lol). The issue with this show is how small the wasteland feels. The main characters always bump into each other, which makes the world feel really small.

Personally I took it as a sign of growth in his character, saving a life instead of (possibly) crippling someone and letting another die.

@BrowncoatGofAZ also ending the cycle of abuse. The Brotherhood of Steel (at least this chapter) seems to be perpetuating a cycle of violence. Thaddeus bullies Max because he was bullied. Knight Titus made Max clean his codpiece, and in the beginning, Max made Thad do the same. But instead of continuing that cycle and letting Thad die like Titus tried to do with Max, Max saves Thad. Max is a true knight--not just a coward hiding underneath some armor.

It would be good if it wasn’t written by a high schooler. So many plot holes, awful dialogue, terrible writing over all. It was fun to see one of my favorite games ever come to screen. However, if it wasn’t based off a video game it would be just another bad show on Amazon.

if you really look into old school brotherhood(the washington sect was really the only one that cared about their scribes aside from a few outliers) so far the show has been very accurate about how knights treat their scribes unfortunately, titus being an example.

@@robertfraser7943 No. The "Animal Friend" perk as its name suggests only affects Animals (like Dogs, Cats, Radstags, and maybe a Yao Guai). On the other hand, the "Wasteland Whisperer" perk affects creatures and abominations (such as Deathclaws, Mirelurks, Super Mutants, Radscorpions, and yes, Gulpers).

"Big things have small beginnings" And not every "Chapter" or Knight are war mongers... The whole principle of "Keeping dangerous technology out of peoples hands" has some truths to it...
