NOTICE: I have learned recently about the damage boost cap. I'm right now researching and testing this and the noted traits that apparently bypass this (Mighty Gaze/Intense Focus). I apologize for showcasing this flaw without properly researching if there were even caps to passive boosts. This video will still be up, but just keep in mind this damage boost cap!
toonlinkssbb515 yes, after I showcase damage boost cap and the traits that bypass that, I want to compare Mighty Gaze/Undying Fury vs Will of the Sword
Joker: Hey dad! Can I borrow your buddy Pixie for a while. Demi-fiend: I don't mind, but why? Joker: Cause I'm gonna kill god and free humanity from being enslave. Demi-fiend: Oh....... Okay then. Just treat her well okay. She my best friend. Joker: I promise dad! Thank you.
It's also kind of insane that you can technically do this with Joker too. Since HP and SP increases carry over in NG+, should you play enough and really grind areas that raise both, you can eventually get a Joker that has 999 HP and SP at Lv.1
Fun fact: You can use Ryuji’s insta-kill skill to instantly kill enemies in a palace AKA while on foot by dashing into them, just like when driving with Mona. This could be useful if you want to do some maxing or simply get a fusion alarm in a palace and cannot currently get to Mementos.
It’s my first time playing through persona 5 royal and I don’t know even how to do persona fusions it just seems confusing and this video makes me more confused but I did enjoy it
This is my first persona game and I’m lost on everything 😂😂😂. I’m having so much fun though. 55 hours in and just secured the route in the 3rd palace 🙌🏼
I'm gonna try this on Arsene, I was trying to decide whether to have 99 magic or attack because I wanted endurance and luck but you know this is just the easiest option
if you plan on eventually maxing out your personas level i highly recommend maxing level before stats as it becomes stupidly expensive to summon personas after stats are maxed (215k with 50% compendium completion discount)
Wow, I wish it was this easy in past games, I’ve been spending +20 trying to get 1hswd master, spell master, victory cry and morning star on messiah. 20 hours of Orpheus+Thanatos = wrong skills, back back and repeat. Of a pool of 15 skills and 4 inheritance slots = ~33000 probability It’s a 1 in a 45 000 chance (almighty has lover inheritance chance)
2:00 As with regular fusions, you can view the stats and skills of the two personas before fusing them, so that you don't rely on RNG. Some personas already come with Almighty Amp/Boost, and Magic Ability. In fact, I found that the persona you're network fusing with is more important, as the higher level personas seem to have a better chance of having the skills already. As a side note, I'm fairly confident this skill didn't existed in P5, but I found a persona with Drain Elec and immediately took it.
I don't remember hearing of any personas besides Messiah having Almighty Boost, nor anything at all with Almighty Amp, Magic Ability, or Soul Chain (at least in Vanilla P5). Is this somehow different in _Royal,_ or do you still need to rely on Network Fusion to acquire them?
@@steam-powereddolphin5449 Yes, Messiah naturally has Almighty boost. I'm saying the personas in the Network fusions sometimes carry the skills already for you to take, rather than relying on the bonus skill you obtain from fusing.
@@SideDuck97 So there's a chance that, when using Network Fusion to acquire these rare skills, the other 'ingredient' persona may already have one of more of them (considering that there are likely quite a few players who like Almighty builds and such)?
I think I’m finally starting to understand this game. Simply put, im new and don’t understand how to full build a good persona. Im sorta just fumbling through and building trash personas that aren’t really good. But it interests me that this could be something to look forward to in new game plus.
I was bummed out to find out Black Viper is not transferrable in P5R, it was in P5. Because I friggin love Pixie cuz of Nocturne too and I did the same thing in P5 with her haha. I can't wait to get my hands on this Pixie. Thanks for the Fusion guide!
I'm legit impressed by how much passion is put in this. I just have a question or two. Is it a new game +? When do you find time ig to go in memento in such while maxing confident? Dayum it's cool.
Maxing out Personas using fusion alarm isn't NG+ exclusive, but in this video I am in NG+. I go to Mementos when I can't rank up a confidant even if I go to Chihaya and raise whoever I'm trying to max out.
I've found the best time to go into Mementos is when you have a lot to do in there. In my game so far, I've gone to mementos once a month to clear all the available floors, get all the stamps, and take care of the 6-8 requests I'd have built up by then. Preferably some of those requests are for confidants. Similar idea with palaces. Go in prepared to be there until the end...unless there's a story reason that you can't get to the treasure all in one day.
whats the theme you used during the battle section of the video i love that song and i wanna listen to it when im playing but idk where to find it edit: nvm im a dumbass and didnt look in the discription most people dont link the songs and im like reeeeeeeeeeee
Bought P5 on release and dropped it immediately, couldn’t get into it. Now after grinding FFVII R, I wanted to try a turn based rpg and fell in love with the game I dropped so long ago. A good question for you , is how much of this is research and how much of this did you learn through your many playthroughs ?
ohwoa that's a good question. When I first played vanilla P5, I had to research about min/maxing. When P5 Royal came out in Japan, I accidentally stumbled on fusion alarms being able to trigger an electric chair accident. That was from my first playthrough. Currently, I don't really remember how many playthroughs I've been through, but it's a mixed bag of accidentally stumbling upon a trait that's overlooked or someone in the comments pointing out a trait I should test.
There’s a website that has all the personas with all the persona fusion recipe just go look at the fusion. But I got bored. you can fuse Sataneal with Kali to get Attis. Then fuse Attis with Barong to get Nebros the fuse Nebros with Belial. There is billions of other ways to do it, it was just the first names that came up while searching
Ame no Uzume is a bad choice , since you need her to have frei to unlock level 3 twin confidant on your next playthrough , I’d rather have all of the confidant persona requirement to be in registry that I can simply just buy and complete the confidant
I enjoyed watching Pixie one shot Shadow Wakaba for all the trouble she caused me back in the original P5, I only wish it was Shido, that first phase of his was difficult for me on my first playthrough of P5, although on my 2nd playthrough. (I only recently got P5R and am approaching Kaneshiro's Palace as of writing this comment)
Ave Maria does reduce the cost of support skills by 75%, but I personally prefer Positive Thoughts for buff Personas. That extra 2 turns for your -kajas, that also works with the autos, feels like a better trait for me, but this is just my opinion.
Sodium Cat I did testing with that trait as well but Attis’s trait with any persona with Thermoplaye is OP! If only they had a group debilitate. I also recommend to slap those two extra turns from Positive Thoughts on a starter buff persona, I did some testing and it’s works for Auto-Kaja’s as well.
Mimicking Jawa Mimicking Jawa agreed, Thermopylae is very good! I made Hastur my current buff Persona only cause I love Cthulhu mythos beings. I do wanna shift my buffing Persona to someone else it was just a spur of the moment with Hastur
@@thesodiumcat What I do is: Use Rangda as my starter buff Persona, with the auto-kaja skills and the Positive Thoughts trait, then switch to an untouchable Alilat with Attis' trait and Thermoplye. I also have a Girimehkala with Debilitate, Concentrate, Charge and Revolution with Ave Maria trait That's my support setup
immortal yoshitsune is in fact still possible and can in-fact be made better with all drain skills besides one or two so you could either take i think it’s apt pupil for the crit chance or repel fire because i don’t know it there’s a skill for drain fire and basically have fire immunity and only take gun damage or go for a higher crit chance for higher damage yatagarasu is the one who you can move all the drain skills onto from what i’ve found though fusing fusing satan get drain ice was a pain because the only fusion method i found that works is messiah picaro and stone of scone
Gotta admit. That’s honestly a nice build. But I’m thinking of doing this build with Titania, mostly cause I already have a Uber pixie in persona 5 so she may as well get a royal upgrade in my royal play through
on my playthrough to beat the game pixie only on merciless, have beaten kamoshida by now, which is nightmare with no obaryon and starting with the end of kaneshiro it'll be so much fun, leared this from another youtuber lettuce sauce, he cover it way before you tho.
Cheryl Williams I’m also kind of mad there’s no online feature where you can go to other people’s thieves den. It can be a good setup to play tycoon and battle online with your party members. You can possibly even bet Pcoins to make the reward a little bit more satisfying.
It is impossible to have that feature considering the combat system right now lack of certain things. To PvP in such a turn based game like this it needs a lot of other features. For ex: Look at Pokemon, you either go first turn or second turn based on your pkm’s Speed stat. In Persona, everything is max at 99 which means same speed for all personas, you can’t determine who will go first. Furthermore, if people all build their personas that has full Repel/Null/Drain they are not gonna even deal dmg to each other anymore, etc.
Fwisted Tate oh yeah lol I forgot about that but maybe they could ban the personas with all drain moves except the stat thing that you said there’s not really a way around that apart from basing it on luck (not the stat) but that would be a bit stupid
@@riotgun999 I get the no damage part, but for stats, in Pokemon if two share the same speed its a 50/50 and it can happen easy, so in an online setting it could do the same. Of course the no damage to each other would kill it.
No, the levels don't matter for the Persona, only the stats. You can build a level 1 Arsene to have 99 max stats and it'll be equal to my level 47 Pixie with maxed stats and the level 99 Satanael with maxed stats. I hope that makes sense! The only damage fluctuation, in regards to levels, is Joker's level.
@@thesodiumcat ah yes makes very much sense! I play Persona 5 for years now but I‘m still sometimes trapped in my Pokemon trained mindset haha. Thank you very much for your fast answer!
I have the question about inheritate skills can I only use strengthen persona only to gain the skill I want? (I quite new for creating persona sorry if I ask some stupid question.)
Yeah, you can use gallows to sacrifice it to pass down the skill you want. Just make sure to save before in case the skill you want doesn't get transferred. Also, if you go to the compendium, and press R2, you can see what your Personas can itemize too in case the specific skill you want to transfer can be made into a skill card.
Correct, I just learned about this not too long ago so I want to take a pause at what I'm doing and do some damage tests because apparently certain traits like Mighty Gaze/the single target one bypass the damage boost cap, but I wanna test that first before I start spouting stuff without proof
@@thesodiumcat I have not tested it myself but I am currently using the intense focus build on Satanael. There was a Japanese blog that did these tests themselves and it seems as though intense focus/mighty gaze do bypass the 20% damage cap.
Tono Ventura by any chance do you have the link to that blog? If not, it's cool I can probably dig around and try to find it. Yeah, thats what I was reading on reddit and gamefaqs, but I definitely do wanna record damage comparisons and talk about this cap. As broken as we can make our Personas, I really wish there wasn't a cap. I love seeing huge damage numbers and why I had such a big Disgaea moment during high school. Still, glad we do have some work arounds though if they prove to be true
shout-out to the guy who put up the beefed up pixie in network fusion for me to use, you a real one Ez almighty amp, almighty boost, magic ability, spell master, victory cry, megidolaon
You mention “passing moves along.” How do you do that without going through multiple fusions? I have a lot of moves I’d like to pass to my asterius, thanatos, etc but I have no clue how, so I just hope to get good skill cards for them
There's 2 ways.. Fusing the Persona from scratch using personas with the skills you want. Then there's fusion alarm gallows. Which you could transfer up to two moves with rng on your side. Just save and reload until you get one or 2 of the moves you want. Some moves arent transferable do know that. To know every little detail look up fusion calculator and make sure you hit the "royal version" option at the top chinhodado.github.io/persona5_calculator/indexRoyal.html#/list Using this you can find out which moves to prioritize as certain skills can be made into skill cards using the itemize function in the velvet room. You have to invest time into it there's no way around this.. I spent 50 hours making perfect personas and remaking some after realizing victory cry is an item now. Depending on if you are going for the True secret boss fight in New game plus. Try to make atleast one Persona with high crit passive skills, one shot kill/sword dance, etc. Another for full support (Thermopylae+Vitality of tree trait that allows you to use ambush moves, debilate, rebellion, salvation, revive. This last boss fight will have you utilized both crits, and ailments (go for dizzy) . So atleast make one of each while you're enjoying making powerful personas. If you need any more help.. I can try.. I dont know everything but I've 100% the game including the challenges in the palace. I have also beaten the game in merciless and tried many things... So If you idea questions I should be able to help.
@@CrowFGC as in personas? Ideally you want Persona specializing in magical attacks or physical not both. This because you'll ran out of slots, arm master cuts health cost by half and spell master for magic. Covering weakness, etc. Ends up cutting your move pool. I suggest you make a persona specializing in different elements from with their proper amps and boosts. Of course if what you want is powerful hitting ones otherswise just make then carry two moves or a ailment plus their corresponding technical trigger move. Ex: dizzy plus physical moves, brain jack plus mapsiodyne, etc, Severe skills cost a lot of sp and aren't worth the sp unless you got the passive skills and traits to make it worth. So don't jump on replacing all moves with severe once you are in New game plus you'll have more sp to work with and should be worth by then. Don't spend too much time on making max outs Personas with moves covering every weakness truth is without amps and boost they won't be that powerful. They are useful but they won't work well on bosses rendering those 99 stats useless. Yoshitsune has the strongest physical move hassou tobi, and kaguya has the strongest bless move. Unfortunately curse is the only magic spell without a severe spell. God hand, sword dance are also good physical moves. Satanael is very versatile although you will have to change his trait to will of the sword if you want him to be a physical hitter. Concentrate and charge doesn't have to on the Persona you are hitting with so you can save a slot by having a dedicated support skill Persona with all those moves. It's already lots of info but hopefully it helps on how you approach it One tip on choosing Personas.. If it has a gun weakness, skip it.. It's the only attribute you cant cover.. There's no drain gun. If it has multiple weakeness it's also not so great.. You'll waste too many slots covering those weaknesses. Generally final fusions are pretty solid choices.. But dlc personas are also quite good. You can make almost all personas good unless it has a gun weakness lol
One thing; Pagan Allure makes it so Boost and Amp together is pointless. Pagan Allure caps at 100%, meaning that trait with Amp is the most you'll get. Boost is useless with Pagan Allure and Almighty Amp
Hey ummm i'd like to thank you for explaining 'cause the websites are not very relieble. Also i wanted to ask if you could make a perfect almighty Messiah Picaro that drains physical damage. Thank you!
Ryuji: Dude where did you get that busted ass Pixie?! Ren: My cousin. Ann: Your cousin?! Ren: Funny thing is she isn’t a Persona. She’s a demon. Morgana: With stats like that?! Of course she is! Ren: No like she’s literally a demon. Everyone: WHAT?!
So, using this method only gets you 10 Max stats personas, considering the use os 2 slots for the alarm fusion. Is there a way to bypass this and get ALL 12 slots with "uber personas"?
Yeah but buffing stats honestly ain't even worth it. You're gonna wanna blow your brains out with all that X & O mashing you'll be doing on top of hearing Caroline and Justine
@@SavagePatch115 I think that just having enough patience will make you the best at min maxing. Rushing the process and using treasure demons will only ruin the stats. For example, if your making an Arsene build then sacrifice a persona that's around his level and gain only one level at a time in each stat. Basically something like this, Arsene before level up: MA:2 EN:2 AG:2 Arsene after level up: MA:3 EN:3 AG:3 And even if it does take awhile to get the skills and stats that you want, you will get them eventually, Trust me
