After graduating from Full Sail University, with a 3.7 GPA in 2015, I was ecstatic! Why? I’d attended universities for over two decades following retrograde and anterograde amnesia while attending law school. A genius level high school student, everything was set back to a three-year-old level to start again. I’m a creative! I used to draw and paint a lot, and now do all kinds of art. Although I’m not exactly a savant, I’m a quick learner with a late start and cannot wait to dig my heels into this program. ❤

It would be better to have Maxon One at a lower subscription price so that more creative individuals will have more control over their creativity.

You can only create so many 7 minute long youtube promos in the effort to increase sales... Eventually you've got to change the pricing model.

Moveing forward, some things I would love to see in C4D is, #1, improved viewport performance. #2, improved head room and overall performance, such as lowering the impact of using xpresso in your scene. #3 better integration with xpresso and 3rd party plugins. #4 The ability to builk control and use xpresso nodes, like adding 5 octane light tags and exposing the light power parameter on all 5 of them at once.

It will be very nice to do low cost subscription for artist with low income. When I had a subscription I was very stress to make results to prove the value of the money that I am paying, and less dive deep into the artistic opportunities that Maxon have.

Kudos for the maxon team for going forward! However I would like them to put a bit more focus on stability and speed instead of new features. New features are great, but not really usuable in a production environment without stability. The last year we have a lot of issues with C4D and redshift. (memory leaks, crashes... ) The workarounds to keep our production going is exhausting to say the least. I understand some of these problems are not an easy fix and NVIDIA is not repsonding with the urgency we would like. Here we really hope that things will get better again in the foreseeable future, so we can keep working on amazing projects.

It would be nice if they add a version of Maxon One, that is for personal use, that is, non-profit. This is mainly geared towards students.

Great tools but the pricing is just too high for me to continue my subscription of C4D as an individual creator. I continue to use these tools only because the studio I'm working for pays for it. As an individual creator there are alternatives with much lower cost to entry. Blender takes care of most of my needs as an alternative to C4D and anything it can't do I can use Houdini which comes with an indie license at a much lower cost.
