Bro, right? I hate to say it, but I'm a lot less excited about HSC because he's not gonna be there. :(

He gotta keep a bit of mystery. Also, maybe he's not one person but several, maybe he doesn't play with a standard keyboard, so he cannot compete, etc. we don't know.

I remember watching one relay of Idra. When I saw the ending, for like the first 30 seconds, I was in disbelief and and shock and I was like, "wait, what? Huh?! That did NOT just happen!!!1!". Then I was giggling for the next 5~ minutes at it. It came down to one final battle. As I recall, the other player didn't have enough time to get a full army, while Idra easily maxed out with 150+ army supply of mutas and zerglings. That should have been a one sided battle, with Idra easily winning. However, once Idra saw the other person's army, which was made up of something like 75% hallucinated units, and Idra didn't have detection (to see the difference between real units and hallucinated units), Idra immediately ragequit. I still giggle about it on an occasion, such as now. xD It's possibly the ONE and ONLY time a grand master(?) won using hallucinated units.

@@agalerex Oh man, that sounds so familiar. Was it a WhiteRa game? My favorite IdrA moment was when, using a build he personally didn't like, said in chat as he was winning "no wonder you people play like this. It's so much easier than being good." What a legend.

TLDR: played what was effectively a 1vs2, emulated Idra's playstyle, magic boxed my way to victory, and got accused of cheating because of it. XD @@SaltpeterTaffy fun fact: i once did a 2v2 (terrain + protoss vs terrain + zerg) back when Idra was playing at a pro level. I played as zerg and hid an expo on the bottom left side of the map, which the other team didn't scout at all (until it was too late). They wiped out my partner's ability to create units, but allowed him to stay in the game, by letting him keep a supply depot. They then did the same to me, except in my case, they thought they left me with just a depleted gas geyser. (They didn't scout my aforementioned hidden base until it was too late.) What they didn't know was he had something like 5k in gas, which he gave to me. With him no longer able to help, i knew AoE was the only way i was going to be able to beat them. They thought they had won; they though we had bad manners by not saying "gg" then leaving, until i attacked with my first deathball of zerglings and mutas, i was able to wipe out their armies, but in doing so, also wiped out mine. It took me about two minutes to get a new army, partly because i had to sacrifice all of my drones for the sole purpose of getting a max out deathball (of zerglings and mutas), and getting a backup hidden hatchery (on the bottom right side of the map). During that time i knew they most likely would switch to thors, high templar, and archons, and they also found my hidden base (on the bottom left side of the map). When i attacked, I emulated Idra's playstyle and magic boxed my way to victory. I lost maybe 25% of my army while completely destroying theirs. They accused me of cheating! XD If memory serves correctly, i responded with "Pro played called Idra + magic box = gg. Google it." xD Edit: auto carrot
