Grateful this Mother's Day, for Abysinian Bapt Church, for all that my eyes did see, and for all that my ears did hear. The music (choir, soloists, musicians, and choir director) were all phenomenal and spirit filled! I was especially blessed by this sermon, and pray that GOD will grant me (and my sisters everywhere) the discipline, courage, faith to keep pressing toward the fulfillment of our call, for our healing, and for the uplift of our community.
Magnificent Worship, Word, Choir, Musicians are Heavenly - Organist is on another planet --passionate about Gospel Music that God gives the Black Church-others try but cannot duplicate. Our societal pains from Mon to Saturday are soothed through our worship music on Sundays --When Sunday Morning Comes - we have an understanding of the reason why we Sing! The Church reminds the world who is in charge--GOD, not the Politicians who sponsor grief and darkness in the lives of Americans, black and brown in particular. Church has to deal with hate, injustices, and political crimes committed against the families - The Gospel has a lot to say about it and the Preacher is God's mouthpiece period. God also deals with problems within the Church...before they divide the church. Again the Preached Word!
