Why on earth would God want anyone to see the propaganda of something that clearly violates His Word? Deutoronomy 6: 13 “Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name.” Jesus came back and reiterated it! Matthew 5: 34 “But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne.” God’s word clearly states not to take an oath except to the Lord, so encouraging (the youth especially) to sin so greatly against God, is absolutely egregious! And to do it in what is supposedly a house of the Lord. There’s nothing “divine” about black Greek organizations founded on Masonic principles. This is an abomination unto the Lord and what the church is supposed to teach. Spiritual discernment is so key Pushing kids to sin 🤮 Mark 9:42 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
Abyssinian I am determined to come to New York and be in on the worship service!!!!!! Y'all bless me each Sunday!!!!! God bless and keep you!!!!! Blessed in Georgia!!!!!!!!
I just recently started watching Abyssinian Baptist Church. I have enjoyed the ministry of Rev. Hoggard. May God continue to bless him in wherever his journey takes him.
I have been following Abyssinian for some time on RU-vid!!!! I look forward every Sunday to Rev. Hoggard preaching and the excellent music and worship service. Your preaching has blessed me tremendously!!! God bless and keep you!!!!!
I have been a virtual Abyssinian viewer for the past several years (just prior to the Pandemic?) other than visiting Abyssinian on Sunday, during my family's visits to New York, yearly, the past two years. I am terribly sorry to see you leave "Abby." Know that you and Pastor Butts got my family and I through the Pandemic and beyond. We are sending you love all the way from Los Angeles, California and we hope (and expect) to see you again soon. Wishing you the BEST!!!! Xoxo!!!
@@nopjack7278He didn’t apply. Secondarily, the search committee wanted someone who was married. Hoggard was the one with the oil for this generation at Abyssinian. Time will tell.
Dr. Dyson is a beast of a speaker! Service was magnificent and a blessing to many. We love you Rev. Dr. Hoggard! We appreciate you and send our love from Jackson, TN. May the True and Living God continue to bless you and all your endeavors. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️
For the last 6yrs I have enjoyed Abby’s virtual services. Rashad deserved to be the next pastor. I am not being unkind or argumentative, I am just disappointed but I am also accepting what God has allowed.
Dr. Hoggard, Teaching and Preaching in the Last years has been A True Blessing to Abyssinian and Beyond! He Change The Atmosphere in Abyssinian, Preaching and Showing Love for All. God has Something Very Special in Store for Him. He is surely be Missed. He's an Anointed Young Man. He will be Richly Blessed as He has Blessed so Many. Blessings! Ms Ellie ❤️ Harlem NY
This was such a powerful sermon and I thank God for the meaning of the sermon's message. It gave me a lot to think about, when trying to do what is right. This is a sermon for all people, to know and remember, that God 'sees and hears everything we do. May God continue to pour His blessings upon Dr. Rev. Hoggard.
What a blessing he is to the Body of Christ. His powerful teachings and sermons are great. His presence at the Abyssinian church during a very difficult time has been noteworthy! We look forward to sharing again with him as the Lord opens doors for him in ministry!
As someone who has Pastored, and now retired, after 45 years of Pastoring, I’ve learned that while promotion comes from God, one must leave to be promoted or be fully recognized and, or appreciated. Dr. Warnock is an example of that truth, and also the incoming pastor was at Abyssinian, left, and is now returning; in the Senior capacity. May God bless Dr. Hoggard in his sojourn and may his sermon, that touched me, resonate in his own heart.
