May 2021 GA - Generations of Land Protectors and Honoring Hope Cristobal 

Independent Guåhan's May 2020 General Assembly, focused on "Generations of Land Protectors" and featured stories from Cat Mccollum and Maria Hernandez, members of the Flores and Pangelinan families of Litekyan, who have been pushing for the return of their family's land for decades.
Each month, Independent Guåhan honors a different #magataotao or esteemed individual. For this GA, the group honored educator, community activist and former Senator Hope A. Cristobal.
