Hello Friends!!!! Welcome or welcome back to my channel!!! In this video I'm sharing with you all my favorite plants or planty things for the month of May 2024.
Every month I typically choose 5 plants and/or planty things that have stood out the most to me during that month. These are things that brought me the most joy during that time period. This month there are 5 plants. A nice variety of plants...many in bloom!
I’ll also show you two different plants and you can vote for which is your favorite 💚.
I really hope you enjoy this video :)

Hi Sue! Thank you so much!!!! I am so glad I figured it out as well. It was SOOOO frustrating before that. I never had such a hard time with AVs before this. Now I'm constantly paranoid they will get the thrips again LOL. So far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed.

i really didn’t know bear paws grew to be tree like as yours is! I assumed they stayed close to the soil like some other succulents do- thanks for giving me a new plant goal!!!

I'm thinking maybe it can get big like a jade plant...the growth pattern/shape seems very similar to me :). I would love to get a giant "bush" of bear paws one day!!!!

I am in love with that African Violet, sigh! 💖 Anyway, I prefer the Bear Paw. I have a variegated one too but yours has much more variegation - love it! 💚

Jenn votes the bear paws and Lynn votes the peperomia this was such a great video the backs of the Dorian Gray leaves are as beautiful as the front I'm going to go shopping for the Dorian Gray I think the word you were looking for for the blooms with ethereal each one of your May favorites was fantastic Jenn really loved the watermelon pot I think that's one that you got thrifting I think I remember that video😊😊😊

Your Bear Paws is very warirgated! Nice find....but i like the underdog, the Pepperomia incana as its not very well known yet, and i seem to like the underdogs😂...but i love tbe Dorian Gray the best...love your collection and your videos❤

The peperomia Incana has such a beautiful halo-like leaf margin. Thanks for introducing me to this peperomia. This plant gets my vote. I see you’re smitten with begonias, and so foam I.❤ I love the Many Harmony Maculata-type spotted Angel wing hybrids. I broke down and bought Harmony’s Angel Raider’s begonia from Harmony Foliage. The leaf tips appear as if they’ve been dipped in silver. You have two of my wishlist plants growing in your shop. The Dischidia hirsuta and the Hoya burmanica, I hope to buy those when they become available in your shop!

Hi, Paul!!! Oh my...I looked up the angel raider's...wow!!!! That is something special. I may have to put that one on my wish list. I love that silver dipped leaf tip...so different. If you get an incana you won't regret it. They are such a beautiful color, and texture, and shape. I just adore that plant. I'll have both the hirsuta and should still have burmanica at that time as well. The hirsuta plants seem to be hitting a growth spurt lately so it shouldn't be too much longer!!!! OMG, I didn't know that Dischidia Hirsuta flowers! I just received one recently from Plant Haven Toronto that I loved how it looks like a Hoya. It's a small plant so I look forward to it growing. This seller ships to the US besides Canada.

I have both these plants lol. Love them both, so I am picking the var. Bear paws. But you cannot feel their leaves as much as the Incana. Have a nice Sunday.

Love all these plant's, but my favourite has to be the Bears Paw var. The peperomia Incana is a close second though and i cant stop touching it's leaves, it's so soft like velvet! 😊💖🪷

Oh my gosh...yes...love the softness of the leaves. I've discovered an even softer and "funner" one...if you like Hoyas and soft leaves...you have to get the Hoya lauterbachii!!!!! It's freaking amazing. Actually after feeling both just now the incana is still better LOL. The Hoya is a thinner leaf so it feels more fragile than incana...but just as fuzzy soft...maybe a tinge softer than the incana. Anyways...just a heads up.

Yes, I love Hoya's, I have a few of them. I'm kind of running out of space but I will keep my eye out for this fuzzy Hoya...I can always make a plan for the right plant, LOL. Thanks for the heads up 😊

Another tough choice, but I think I prefer the bear paw because of its beautiful variegation. The pot/ plant combo of the incana is perfection though. As always your picks are gorgeous. The AV with all its flowers is spectacular! The hirsutu is amazing and I love the little flowers. I have one I bought from you but it hasn’t flowered. Finger crossed it will. 🤞

The bear paws ❤️ ..omg it is amazingly beautiful..I have both the varigated and nonvarigated..my nonvarigated one almost looked like your plant but fell off the shelf ..it's making a comeback..I water them when the paws look slightly wrinkled..I don't wait until they are fully wrinkled..and yes they need alot of light..mine is directly under a grow light

Your dischidia is so cute. I have a tiny one that I'm growing in a self contained plastic container. But I'd love to keep it in room conditions like you. I always thought they needed very high humidity 🧐 Your AV is gorgeous 😍 ✨️ I'm voting for the variagated bear paw. I can't help it! I'm a varigation lover. 😂 I do agree that a combo pot would be stunning! 🥰

I love all your May favorites! The begonia A……I would love to own one day…..never have seen it local! Glad you have backups! Love your other S Leaves D Grey begonia! So amazing and just perfect! I have to pick the Peperomia Incana for my favorite plant pick for the contest! I just love that plant and the color and if I had to pick between my 2 since I have both….Incana would stay! I’m biased because I saw the variegated bear paw from David and have wanted one as well as the variegated strawberry begonia which I guess isn’t a begonia. I love that little begonia with the red or pink spots. I’d like that one too.

The variegated strawberry begonia is a cutie for sure...and cheap! I love when a plant is both inexpensive and gorgeous :). I had a non-variegated one a few years ago. I think the variegated are even prettier. The amphioxus is so unique looking...definitely one to add to a plant collection/Begonia collection. Hope you have a great Sunday...feels like it's going to be a hot one!!!! This next week is going to be a hot one LOL.

Oh That little spotted begonia is so cute. And those fluffy flowers on the African violet is gorgeous!! That is the perfect pot for the peperonia. I think I like the bear paw the most. Both are pretty.

varigated bear paws. love it! Also, I am a begonia and violet lover. How about Episcias? So easy, and love their trailing habit. I have amphioxius, and think they arean outstanding begonia

I almost bought an Episcia! But I didn't...because I don't need another genus to start collecting LOL. They are beautiful though!!!! Who knows...maybe one day I'll have them. Thanks for sharing your favorite :). Team Begonia and African Violet...happy to know another fan of those plants!!!!
