Authorities say two people in Polk County broke into a home, stole some items and couldn’t move them all, so one of them called 911 for help. Story: bit.ly/3Qmkyle
Yes, the man acts like a tyrant and truly doesn't deserve his job. A perfect example of a man that thinks he's a good person, yet destroys families and people's lives without a second thought. FU Mr Judd
About 40 years ago a young man - early 20's - bought a very old cowboy style revolver from a gun shop near me. He had a license and bought it legally. The very next day a guy walks into same gun shop and announces a robbery. The owner gives him the cash and whatever else he wanted, and the guy leaves. By the time this Einstein gets home the police are there waiting for him. How did they know who robbed the store? He used the same pistol he bought the day before to rob the place. Being essentially a one of a kind revolver, the owner recognized it right away, looked up his paperwork from the day before, called the police with his name and address, and the rest is history. I'm sure he wasn't a student at Harvard.
Sounds like a man who is so in love with his own voice that he doesn't hear what he is saying. Should have been a traveling preacher swindling idiots out of their money. If that's what you call a national treasure... whatever 🙄
Really? He’s a disgraceful Desantis lackey and his support for permitless concealed carry is a betrayal of every law enforcement officer in the United States
Plenty of people that aren’t very intelligent working very industrious at all all kinds of jobs, whether it’s mowing grass or during construction etc , at least working instead of stealing.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sheriff Grady Z Judd!! He is the absolute BEST at telling these stories about stupid ass criminals!! He just makes the story even better wen he's telling it . Thank you for putting a smile on my face!
I promise I did not copy your remark. It just hit me right away, before scrolling. He is hilarious and needs his own channel. A montage of his comedy would be a hit.
"Most" is the operative word here. A few years ago four Pinellas County judges ended up with DUIs within a six month period -- one arrested at 8am after she comes to work so drunk that she smashes her car into the electric fence separating the judges parking area from the civilian parking area (all she had to do was wait 20 seconds for the fence to open). Here in Michigan I know of two former judges that came to work either hungover or already drunk and drank vodka all day on the bench every work day!!!!!!!!!!
Well, that's not saying too much. As I understand it, it's mandatory to but naked under those robs, and the "water" they have in a glass must legally be vodka.
With all due respect Sheriff, this kind of thing only happens in your state. As funny as this story is, there are countless others like it that originate from only one state in the union like none other; the Sunshine State Only your state has a worldwide renowned game called ______Man Game - insert your name in the blank. I would encourage you to to play the aforementioned game because you’d have enough material for a standup comedy career for the rest of your natural life.
I thought this was funny, then sad, and then side-splitting funny again when this sheriff, from Florida, said these criminals must have been from NY or Baltimore, because those cities don't enforce the law. Both New York and Maryland have lower crime rates than Florida. One thing we do know, this sheriff was educated through the Florida school system. He went out of his way to take a political jab and ended up on his arse. Give me a break.
@@daowest I don't know how you figure and unlike New York we're allowed to have guns and we have stand your ground laws and a Santa Rosa County Florida where I live you can go target practice on the weekends for free I'll share says he don't want us to miss he wants us to save the taxpayers money you must be from New York
Idk having to say multiple times that you're sober kinda tells me he might not be 100% sober lol. Just my cynicism tho. Imagine telling a cop more than once you're sober without him even asking if you're sober... its like ok... i didn't think you weren't sober but now i do.
@Trevor did he say it multiple times? I only heard it once in this clip and he's obviously just making a little joke. He probably has some fun here and there. I don't see anything wrong with that as long as he isn't doing anything illegal.
We had a judge in Ohio that was a cocaine addict on the bench an retired after 40 yrs. Really pathetic, embarrassing this idiot gets voted for for many yrs. after. He had the coke in his saddlebags on his motorcycle during early days in law school. And another juvenile court judge who had 3 d.u.i's an retired after 25 yrs on the bench. You see sort of why I came to floridah'.
I worked in Scranton, PA for about 8yrs. During that time, one of my coworkers got arrested for his house being robbed. When he'd filed the complaint, he listed his cocaine stash among the stolen items. When they recovered the stuff, he ID'd it as his, and was promptly arrested.
@@elizahhoward6810 also where "Munson" ended up in Kingpin lol. "They paint their cars primer grey. Keep 'em in the backyard where they stay....Deep in the heart of Scranton!" 🤣
I’ve ALWAYS loved this Sheriff and his compassion for helping victims ESPECIALLY when a victim is murdered or critically injured SO THIS was a breath of fresh air to see him in a lighter mood. 😂
I saw a guy in court.. he was about 38 years old. The judge goes.. "Why were you speeding"... he said... "I had to get my girlfriend home before midnight". The judge asks, how old is your girlfriend... he said "16". The whole courtroom became stone quiet, and everyone just looked at each other.
That's legal in a lot of places. Edit: I keep getting "just because it's legal doesn't mean it's right." I know that, and that's not the argument I'm making.
@@jennagivens8436 no, you don't. It's legal all over the u.s. you can look up age of consent laws. In Ohio, for instance, a 16 year old can date a person of any age older than him/her. Not to mention that child marriage is legal in some form in every state but Vermont. I'm not saying it's good, but these things are absolutely legal. Edit: I was using outdated information on the child marriage thing. It's now legal in 43 states as opposed to 49.
Sheriff Grady Judd, he’s a classic. Polk County has an amazing sheriff. This video was hilarious. Living in Pinellas County for years his announcements regarding criminals became a weekly occurrence. He’s definitely a jewel in Florida. ❤
I'm pretty sure that's what this country is teaching ; " We'll forgive your actions,, We'll give you everything we own.... We'll help you get where you want to go....."
I almost soiled myself when he started doing the puppet picture conversation and then just dropped both pictures on the floor. You just have to love this Sheriff!
@@southernsass2937 It could well be lead poisoning in childhood. No, seriously, it lowers IQs, weakens impulse control, and is a significant cause of crime.
He not only took an oath to uphold the law, but it appears he willingly signed a contract which among other things, commits him to the the pursuit of sanity. Obviously he loves Christmas, based upon his belief in a sanity clause.
If he did this in Portland, Oregon, where I grew up but fortunately escaped long ago, he’d probably be fired. And since the perps aren’t white and one is female, he’d possibly be charged with racism and sexism. As they say in NYC, Grady is a real pisser, i.e. funny as hell, and is also solid gold.
@@erniebuchinski3614 Invertebrates like you tip your hand every time, princess. Racists are real, and law enforcement is rife with them. There's one in your mirror right now.
@Jason Shoots mental health doesn't have always to do with alchol. Alcohol addiction is its own subset. People don't have to defer to alcohol if they're unwell. Not everyone drinks because they're unwell either.
Sheriff Judd you are the best sheriff. You are a ray of sunshine in these dark days with so much corruption and crimes. God Bless you and protect you and your entire family and police branch.
@Shawn Colapietro - What the fuck does that mean? excuse me, I've lived in Illinois, New York, Florida, Montana and Idaho, also 6 years south of Cleveland in Solon, OH. And let me tell you; you don't know shit.
When he decides to retire, I hope he becomes a trainer for other sheriffs and LEOs in Florida. More like him are needed. He applies the law fairly. He has arrested deputies from other states and locally, judges, Disney employees and even 3 of his own deputies.
i just respect the fact that he said ..""I'm sober as most judges""... because we all know there have been judges who were literally drinking while in court
The good sheriff was very careful when admitting to taking drugs. And as Sober as most judges. Lol, he was low-key telling us he was effed up. This man is a gem of a human. He's on my Mount Rushmore of Lawmen. Speaking of, Bass Reeves is getting his own 1883 spin-off. They should have given the part to a real black lawman like David Clark. That guy is probably descended from Bass.
Calling 911 for assistance with moving and then a ride to the airport...🤔 With STOLEN STUFF THAT IS ALMOST READY TO GO... maybe they feared they'd be robbed being how they were just visiting?!?! Can you IMAGINE IF HE GOT HER PREGNANT?!? What kind of human being could they POSSIBLY RAISE that would have any chance at life?!? Just sad! Some people should not be allowed to reproduce! Just my 2 cents...
The fact that this just rolls off the top of his head, instead of reciting a prepared statement, demonstrates his candor and transparency. I can't help but love this guy. A pity that character like that isn't as abundant as we'd like, but who knows he could set an example.
People are afraid to be this candid. If they are: they are accused of racism. Which Sheriff Grady *constantly* is accused of by loudmouthed mouth breathers.

@@daowest New York City and Baltimore have much higher crime rates than Polk County, Florida. Baltimore is a literal shithole. One of the most dangerous cities in the US. That isn't politics, but facts.
@@Superbdrivemate Calling a place a shithole is literally, 100% an opinion. Facts are objective and measurable. Here are two examples: Polk Co. overall crime rate: 1.5%. That is indeed very low. Here's a fact about a county I chose in NY: Bedford Town 0.25%. The more people you cram together, the higher the crime rate. The more opportunities a place has, the more it crams people together who want to capitalize on them. Those are also objectively measurable statements. NYC is the greatest city in the world, which is my opinion, because of the culture that was born out of infinite opportunity. I can say that because I lived there. Can you say that about Polk Co., FL? Crime rates are low where there ain't shit to do but sit on your couch and watch the kind of garbage that turns your brain to mush. You are the measurement of that fact.

If you want to play it safe and just sit around waiting to die from complications of diabetes, you are free to do so and no one can tell you that you're wrong. Btw, the vast majority of the states leading in crime lean far to the right.
I remember a story about a guy who broke into a home, raped the woman, and asked for money. When she said she didn't have any, he said he'd take a check. He gave her his name and she wrote him a personal check. He was arrested when he went to the bank to cash it. Also, a number of years ago, in a small town not far from us, a guy robbed the local bank. Problem is, it was the small town he grew up in, and everyone knew who he was. Didn't take long to arrest him. Since people are just born idiots!!
I also remember, reading where bank robber had wrote the hold up note on the back of a withdrawal slip that they filled out with their real name, and all their information, and then left the note. And the guy who wrote hold up note on back of pay stub and left the note.
I remember the one about a guy who tried stealing valuable equipment from a conference center or something. Only problem was there was a Police convention on in the center that day. A cop caught him in the bathrooms with some stolen stuff and shot him in the leg
When I was a kid, a ten year old girl walked into a police station, and asked to use the phone to call a taxi. She said she'd just bought something that was too big and heavy to carry on her bike. The electronics store across the street from the station had just called to say that a girl, of her description, had just stolen a CD player.
For a 10 year old girl... Idk I'm torn on what to do there. Thats some balls for a 10 year old girl, especially considering it was apparently a sizeable unit.
Watch this space... I've been watching him for some years now and his presentations are starting to look an awful lot like the Sheriff is thinking about taking a run at a spot in politics. If I wanted to take the Republican party back to its roots after the Trump fiasco, he's where I'd go.
@@Ebmoclas19 What Trump fiasco? The Republicans were loosing their roots long before Trump. In '64, Barry Goldwater(R-AZ) proposed a revised Party but it was overshadowed by Regan, he was flashier. He believed his advisors to not push China & to ignore moving our Consulate to Jerusalem. He also didn't stand up for America to the UN or NATO. So what fiasco?

I used to live in the county right next to Polk and always loved Sheriff Grady Judd. We need more men like him. (Even our county was safer because of him)
The comforting part of the story was the fact that they were trying to return to NY. There ought to be a limit on how many Yorkers are allowed in down here at the same time.
You got brain wash by this cop. But he can not fool me. He know everything about those criminals. But he didn't care, he wait until the criminal kill someone as long as not his family, before he lock them up.

Australia needs more of this type of policing U Americans I must add are SOOOOO opposite to us Aussies the crime U do in a day wouldn't even happen in a year it's sad
I agree with you Lydia he seems to be a very good man & Sheriff!! It is ridiculous right now that so many states have 0 bail required… even if you try to kill someone or kidnap someone you get released on your own recognizance… even worse so many states will not even charge these criminals with a crime unless it’s a really bad offense. In California you can shoplift as long as it’s under $1000 and they can not change you. In the Chicago area someone can break into your house and move in.. the police can not remove them.
