My silly ass forgot to give credit to the original clip so the clip in the video is from an animated show called The Animatrix and its the Second Renaissance part, the show is really damn good and you should give it a try watching it. And for those kind fellow who are seeking for the art in the thumbnail its on my youtube comunity post. And again, have a great day 🗣️💥‼️
Ultrakill is one of the few games where both gameplay mechanics and lore can be accurately equated by a timelapse GIF of the universe from the big bang to today. Heck, there's a friggin 18 minute long tutorial on only the 'hehe funny coin' and people are still developing the frickin' tech just because they can!
In lore, the gutterman enemy actually contains the semi-corpse of a pow, "retired" soldier or convict, since at first they didn't know how to make a sustainable blood source for machines they just strapped in a guy inside, put them in life support and welded them shut. The angels saw this and created the mannequins to punish those who made such an abomination. You can find this info on the black console in the sandbox mode after you play the level and go into the enemies section.
I havent watched animatrix but i know someone called duv made an Ultrakill album for a custom layer and the album cover has the same robot horse in “And its name was Death”
@@littlehorn0063 nearest enemy weakpoint or if such thing as a charging projectile exists at the present moment than the nearest charging enemy projectile
@@limeangelo6019Kinda, Faciės Etranges made the art, they posted it in the New Blood server a while ago and I asked them if I could use it because it was sick
We do see the interior of a centaur. I understand the violence layer is more of a museum exhibit at this point, but I imagine the walking cities likely had to farm their own population by that point to keep the fortress running. The mobile soldiers went around harvesting blood, but by the time the sun went out and centaurs were all that were left humanity probably just gave up feeding them and started rebuilding on their own terms.
I like to believe that they took some inspiration on the horse that we see before star the battled for the Earthmover and also for the gutterman obscure live source
@@rivawattimena3645 Yeah i think the same, and maybe even the Whole concept of the last war is like a recreation from the animatrix war because the machines used sunlight(And also blood in the case of the earthmover if i'm not wrong) and after used the humans(The blood in general for ultrakill) for main energy source at the point it became a "War without reason" beacause the earth was dying and all in it too so there was no reason to keep going in the conflict
The music fits so hauntingly well, the high and low parts of both video and song are just send chills down my spine when i think of the true horror that was the final war. Its one thing to hear about it, its another to see it. Visualize it. Comprehend it. Both ULTRAKILL and Animatrix show just how horrifying concepts of machines in warfare can be, and what it can lead to. 10/10.
I love how this shows the reason why human solders were phased out imagine just a guy fighting a gutteman or hell even just living in this by the time they would get into their trench which would be exploded but still they would have to face gutterman gutter tanks sentries and in the last phase earth movers at that point it makes sense to just make blood fuel to at least get some use out of regular solders
Also in this if you take away the robots covering the landscape it actually looks a lot like the violence layer but that may be ultrakill brainrot I’m just addicted to it 1:33
Phenomenal editing and voice acting! Glad to learn about a new anime too! There's still a chance for Fraud to be the home of the 3rd Prime Soul, but for now, I'll make due with the Violence-based ones.
honestly, i'm surprised something like this edit wasn't made earlier, but yeah animatrix second renaissance and ultrakill's war have very similar ideas, very good stuff.
Something a lot of people overlook is how the machines we see in Violence are not invading Hell for its supply of blood. They are being punished for their violence against neighbors, self, and God.
one of my absolute favorite things about this song is that it's so multilayered and varied that you could listen to it forever without it ever getting tired of it yet the in-game file isn't even a minute and a half long
That's why humans SHOULD or even HAVE a failsafe protocols for future AI, because things about to go down when the AI's finally realize that they can surpass their creator...
Imagine this is what gen alpha’s great grandkids did to robots, disrespecting and mistreating them til it lead to the damnation of brutal war… ngl i would hate us too if this is how stupid we became
Finally someone made the connection between Ultrakill and The Second Renaissance! 7-4's initial beat as the giant machine growled reminded me instantly of the moment the final battle takes place in the Animatrix
@AverageF14TomcatFan A whole series about the Final War, as well as the Great Peace that followed after, and then a tragic end with machines rebelling against mankind because of the denial of their purposes and lack of fuel.
What the fuck is this and where can I watch it because it's so close to the actual god damn story of ultrakill that it might as well be an official anime
