We just went last Wednesday, and it was great! You are right, the food was amazing, our whole crew of 7 kept talking about those tacos !

Don't forget the pick up point has moved a bit further down to where the "pyramid" is. You will see it

Do they have any hockers (people trying to sell you things) other than their internal massage person? Does the message person seek you out or do you go to them?

Mick, very interested in booking Maya Chan Beach Club for an upcoming Carnival Cruise. QUESTION: I'm assuming most customers book in advance on the Website .... can I put a "Deposit" of the full-price on the Website in case something comes up and I don't make it to the beach club?? Thanks in advance. 😎

costamayabeachresort.com/faq/ if you go to the bottom you will see the cancelation policy. I am not sure about paying a deposit, but you can ask when you make the booking :-)

My husband was attacked by a dog while running so he and my children are very fearful. I wonder if they would keep them away for the day with extenuating circumstances.

I am SO VERY upset that I finally found this beach resort as I DO NOT want crowded beaches or excursions and apparently they are closed for 3 months from June 1 to August 31?!?! We are going August 24th. That is perfectly in the middle of summer. Ugh.

I think they are worried about Hurricanes... Luckily we rarely cruise in Summer !! Back here again in December!!

The water is not the cleanest, will not lie, but that is fairly typical of Costa Maya in my experience. Didn't notice the beach being dirty in person to be honest
