Blame Kurt Sutter for this show taking shit writing wise. It wasn’t supposed to end this way, Kurt had all these plans for this show but he decided to be a childish prick and get fired from his job Alas this show has suffered since
That was more or less the point. Packer was a sick, twisted fuck but he was still just a man whose past actions came back to bite him in the ass. Same theme surrounds EZ’s death.
@@user-ey4un1vo7v their viewership was also historic . Grew every episode from middle of season 1 until it ended. But when you listen the actor they felt rushed in those last 2 seasons with all the main characters getting killed off.
People say isaac's death was too quick but i think it was right. Isaac was a junkie sadist who liked to torture and use people, but that was his only talent, when words dont work on someone like ez then you see how weak he was all along. Did he even land a blow on ez? "It cant be over" why? Because he would play and drag out someones death like its a game. That how he wanted to die. Ez gunning him down quick in a alley, Is a fitting death for a roach like isaac.
I agree. He deserved to die the way he did. Ez aswell. In the end, both men deserved their deaths but approached it differently. Ironically the one who was facing a more brutal death was calm and didn't beg at all.
It might be that people think because he ruled over Meth Mountain that he was a junkie like everyone who lived there but really Isaac is just a master manipulator who worked with Butterfly to build an empire they called the "free-est place on Earth" inhabited by drug addicts who are the easiest people on Earth to manipulate. Isaac may have done some drugs but he's not like CoCo.
You're spot on, Isaac was only dangerous when he was in control of the situation and in the numerial majority for example: 1.) Attacks on Orange County and Inland Empire 2).Holding Coco captive on Meth Mountain 3.) Kidnapping Otero, Manny, Tex and killing Dondo
I have to give the writers a little credit. They were smart enough to keep the beef vs San Bernardino and not the Sons in general. Basically, multiple Mayans charters and The bastards had to unite in order to take out 1 chapter of the Sons. Is that really winning the war? You have to assume that had the rest of that ending not happened, then Charming would have responded for Happy’s death. Being the mother charter and the fact that the Sons are a much bigger club, and could call all of their charters in for the war, they would have wiped out Santo Padre and allies. What a god damn mess they made out of this show, after it started with so much potential.
@Nightmare2g-so what? So SOA loses 2 charters, which they’ll rebuild. The Mayans were completely fucked-they lost the pipeline, we’re gonna get taken out by Cole and his boss, and got taken out by the feds, which would’ve led to RICO. The Mayans are completely finished
@Redsdelight At the meeting, isaac had sons there with Arizona, Nevada and California rockers if you rewatch it - safe to assume the sons had multiple charters involved
@Anti.Vegans I actually think August Mark's death was really well done. I loved that quick no nonsense killstreak Jax went on at the end cleaning house of the club's enemies. Finale of Sons was 50x better the the finale of Mayans.
@@Anti.Vegans August's death was fitting because he proved multiple times that if he had any angle sort of angle, he would find a way to play some dirty, underhanded trick. Jax could give him no time to do that. It had to be fast, not drawn out where August could do some dirty shit if Jax let his guard down.
Agreed,.. I expected something more explosive like an all out brawl… instead it’s more of a 5 minute bar fight where the unarmed sons get squashed on the side
Tbh lol all these episodes felt like fillers and always about Emily or the atf, like did he not know what to make the action about he had so much to work with every time we seen the sons it was more talking than action
Isaac was the last of EZ's worries, he have his body, mind and soul to a club that would undue him and almost his family. Chasing vengeance didn't cure EZ's pain, it enhanced it.
They could’ve done so much more with Isaac’s character smh. This was a shitty way of killing him off, he barely even put up a fight and looked so weak.
i knew Isaac was this weak, he just talked a big talk and went after women and old men. seemed to have some of you fooled saying he went out too easy haha
His Effing monologues everytime he was on camera were soo EFFING boring and dragged out and pointless and pathetic, i’m glad he went out begging for his life like a B1tch
On God. They wasted so much time on bs story lines that went nowhere as well. People only say it's better cause it went on 42 episodes longer than Mayans. I felt nothing when Jax died because it was such a shitty death. Ez's was absolutely fucked🫤
Why Larry? The whole storyline of her and Hope after CoCo died was completely pointless. Just like the stupid Broken Saints shit, the dumbass el banquero, the midget sister, all of it. Emily, Galindo-I never watched the show for all that shit. I understand you need other threads for a story, but they sucked
Knew all those hardcore squats and ice baths were for this fight or kinda fight? I was hoping for Ez to beat the crap out of Issac with 1 arm Then shoot him in the abdomen, while Issac was in and out of consciousness Ez would piss on him, Then set him on fire 🔥🔥🔥 Thats just me though
dog its a FX tv show not a dark web snuff film 😂😂 isaac was the crazy sadist that wanted to be extra about everything. ez's cold & calculated, it was like this on purpose
Issac was catching mayans unguarded all season killing of whole charters and he was killed off in the back alley of a club in the middle of a day party 😣😣😣
The sons have so many chapters 😂😂😂all over the USA & countries not just California they never ended at all it’s just San Bernardino plus Mayans are probably fucked they have no international president & Santo padre is dead
They rolled up at a concert in the middle of the day … and apparently no sons had any guns on them. And for once .. we saw Sofia outside of the room lol
In a way that he went out I felt like EZ was no longer playing the “Biker” role of honor, respect and all that shit. He lost everything and just act out everything embracing his inner thoughts instead of trying to be the big badass
I think the point was to through the audience off. Everything don’t have to be a super epic clash. Sometimes the biggest threat can easily be taken out without realizing the threat is coming. Plus I think the point was to focus on the tragedy of the Mayans afterwards
The whole episode felt like they had no budget left to show big action scenes or set pieces like the did when the Mayans were under attack by other Mayans
He only had power because he was Packer's baby brother, hence the reason he always had others do the actual work for him. He was fun to watch, but this was the only way the final fight with him was gonna end.
I rarely ever harshly judge finales but damn was this finale rushed. The whole thing with the Mayans vs SOA was sooooo anticlimactic especially the "fight" between EZ and Isaac. If this had been handled properly Isaac would have messed EZ up before EZ killed him.
Ikr that made me so mad the whole season I understand the actor for Chibbs doesn’t want to return and probably was filming his role in power when they made this season but they could’ve had tug come back he was just here last season and had Quinn be in more episodes as he agreed to come back since he’s in episode 8 it just doesn’t make sense that we don’t see much samcro this season and there is absolutely no retaliation for happy’s death
Well samcrow prob didn't care too much about issac he was as much a problem for them as Santo Padre and ez was to the myans maybe samcrow probably already new what was going to go down with Santo Padre getting wiped out at the end they are Def the smartest chapter to bad they had to end it with a bunch of quick fixes that didn't really fix anything lol
And of course They kill Issac off that easy i swear what a disappointment they were hyping him up to be this crazy ruthless Guy Only To Get killed in just 2 minutes i was hoping he would get a few hits in on ez but nope this fight between them was the one thing i was looking forward too and it was a letdown
They kinda ruined the show with the last season. Showdown in the last 20 minutes, ez never had a ladt conversation with Felipe, emily just kills Miguel, they never find out about Tazas shit and Adelita just disappears and nobody finds out wtf
No one was ever going to find out about her, of the main characters, only Angel cared about her, and he had no way of tracking her down. At best, the cartel lady might have tried to look into it, but it would have added little to the show...
Isaac's death should've dragged SAMCRO into the war. Agree or disagree with the war but SAMCRO (and the other SOA chapters) can't just sit back and let SB just get wiped off the face of the map and not retaliate. That's a horrible look. Show had a lot of potential.
I don't believe the rest of the Sons' charters would retaliate for Isaac's death and dissolving of SAMDINO. SAMCRO and probably all the other charters hated that junkie piece of shit. They let the Mayans and their allies destroy SAMDINO for the sole purpose of getting rid of Isaac, it wasn't just a win for the Mayans it was also a win for the Sons of Anarchy as a whole because they've finally ridden themselves of the cancer that was Isaac Packer. Plus, losing SAMDINO doesn't hurt the Sons' presence in Southern California, they still have charters in Long Beach, Chino and San Gabriel; the Sons will be alright. I just can't say the same for the Mayans though, they lost Santo Padre and their entire presence in Southern California. Their Oakland charters' President and VP are dead, so they'll either vote in a new leadership or dissolve the Oakland charter and the remaining members patch over to the Stockton charter.
