Been on that beach today, sea is great, so calm, but a little green with seaweed. Sunbeds excellent with memory foam covers. Also come with a safe, so great advice about the thieves so we make use of these. Another nice video.
My wife and I loved watching this video. Very insightful particularly so as our son and his friends recently stayed at the Leonardo Royal. They had an Amazing time in Palma Nova
Well done for filming in the heat. Enjoyed watching, the beaches are so lovely. Amazing how few sunbeds had been rented on 2 of the beaches. The bali beds look nice but not worth the extra cost. Watching on my patio & it's baking! ☀️🫠
We stayed at the hotel summer 2022, you need to get to the pool very early to get a sun bed. Beautiful hotel and great location. Could do with upgrading the pool area as can get a bit crowded. Equally, you need to get to the beach early to guarantee a days beach hut. Definitely, will highly recommend. Palmanova is blissful ❤❤

Ah man, I'm going to Cala d'Or for the first time tomorrow but I've been to lovely Palma Nova three times before and this video making me want to go there tomorrow!
Just back (Tuesday) from 4 FAB days there, stayed in Fergus Bermudas. What a lovely place to stay. It was jolly quiet, hot too :-) Hopefully the Sunday Market will get sorted soon.. Cheers for the FAB V~Logs you deliver too :-) We were amazed by how few folks were thewre for High Season..

Wow! A big old walk in such heat! That coffee looked good! I agree with you about the running. Definitely best to do it first thing in the morning or later in the evening. I wouldn’t go for a Balinese bed. Wow! So many empty sunbeds in that beach! Air conditioning is bliss over there. I could not stay in M and S here today in my shorts and tee shirt! I was freezing 🤣
Brilliant Video as always Alex, Thankyou so much, would love if you could show us Palma Nova Beach apartments(Self Catering) some time, as we love to eat out, we are coming over in a few weeks in September to stay there, seem a lot cheaper than the hotel we normally stay at. Cant wait x😀
Top tip maybe bar owners and staff , know who a lot of those thieves are in the area should inform local police, when shop lifters on tour in Glasgow City centre all shops linked by radio. It protects jobs and the survival of businesses , too much theft and robbery will make it a no go area ,but visitors have to be a lot more sensible on leaving temptation with their goods. Another great video.
The way that they have changed the set up on the beaches in Palma Nova it is much better as where I come out from our apartment and walk across the road. There is nothing there now they have kept all the sunbeds et cetera further back to the wall and more in the middle of the beach so leaving the left towards where the bolts areand clear I find it so much better. I don’t rent any sunbeds. I just bring a Lilo to Lyon put my big towel over the top and big blanket coming to Pal over every year so much nicer than other places I’ve been.
Nice one Alex - toying with the idea of popping down to Palmanova for the second half of October - is everything still open (ie decent restaurants with good wine)? Thinking about first half in Port de Pollensa (before it shuts down). If Mallorca is closing shop, there's always the Costa del Sol ......
the bali beds are a good idea. we often get rooms where we have our own on them. There is more shade on them than you get with the tragic parasols which offer hardly any for two people. BUT right near the prom...when there is known theft issues....and no view.....they should be front line for the price!

The heat doesn't stop our queen. Beware of the electric water scooters Alex. Who knows what will happen when the lead gets wet. Those luxury sunbeds look great, if they are free to use.. no melon sellers on the beach either today. Was offered 700 pesatas for melon once. I took it not realizing it was for just a slice. Lol. The police are also on holiday here as well Alex. Had my clothes pinched on the beach. Lucky i had my trunks on. Cala palma nova not looking very busy indeed. Not everyone likes the heat apart from that runner!
Hi Alex, normally we get a jet2 package so everything is sorted, this year we have had to do flights and hotel separately. We will be landing at mignight, it is relativly easy to get a taxi from the airport when we land or would we have to book in advance?
Do you know where there is? Nice places to stop but it’s not expensive that would make a good channel review for people that have not got a lot of money that want to stop on the island for a week or so looking at your video that I am watching today Sunday, the 4th of August looks like the tractor has been out ploughing the sand, you can see my apartment your video when you’re on the steps
