Omg thank you thank you!! I had a lid lock error and running through these at random somehow worked to clear it! F5 E1 error on the Maytag Bravos XL was solved! 😅 Edited to add: I realized after having this error multiple times all I had to do was leave the washer unplugged for 1 hour or overnight and it would reset. What a pain in the ass that was to learn after taking this whole thing apart to clean several components!
What was the issue with this washer? Mine has the same problem. Diagnostic 19 sounds awful, just like this one. I have replaced the agitator plate. It worked for about 5 to 10 loads and its doing it again. Its obviously something with the agitator. Since I have replaced the plate, with no luck, should I now replace the gearbox to get new splines?
Need help my maytag lx is just reading F5 nothing else and onto stop dingling like I don't know we tried the to reset by pressing all thoes buttons the way you did but nothing
Thank you for the help ordered a new interface panel and sealed the exposed portion of the circuit board with a clear coat. Good fix, may i ask what manual is that you are using and where i may be able to pick one up. I searched briefly and was only able to fine this one (Whirlpool Service Technician's Manual W10468340B)
3M EDGE SEALER 3950 I have had it in my tool box from some previous job i have completed. But alot of coments say you can use CLEAR NAIL POLISH seem to work and i am sure probably alot cheaper.
It's the same 3 buttons for both models. The procedure is finicky/requires precise input, so keep trying. btw, the procedure won't work unless the washer/control panel is OFF. If you've tried a bunch of times & still can't get it, unplug the washer for a few hours/overnight & try again. If diagnostics won't work after that, the panel (or the PC board under the panel) might be bad(?)
