Hello, I have a 2016 Mazda6 skyactiv 2.2 diesel. My car has just gone into limp mode with low oil pressure error message. I heard this is a common fault. Please someone help me and give me advice on what to do...
Hi, first don't drive with this problem, drop the engine oil sump and clean engine oil strainer and check injectors copper seal, let me know how is after. :)
Hi I just get the p2263 af code along with other stupid codes and literally everything lighting on my dashboard like christmass tree. Auto from 2016 with 196618km bought year ago with dpf problem not solved. After visiting dealer auto was back into Mazda service in Netherland and they didnt found anything.... Every fuckin 50 km got to dpf regenerate over and over again causin lot more fuel usage and headches . After 2 garages and cleaning dpf , removing sensors , problem not solved .....Only what they could do was dpf removal and off sensors..... I was again happy Mazda owner after 3 months going on one garage to another back till yesterday when all the nightmare come back ...... I could maybe do intake manifolds cleaning self , maybe blow up air also in this pipe what you shown , but I dont think so I could finf small turbo or hoses lead to it myself. My ask do anyone of you know garages , in the Europe Netherland , Germany , Poland who can deal with this nightmare auto??? I mean people who literally know the job and can use multimeter , pressure gauge and can find sollution ???I dont need persons that can put up diagnostic tool and read fault code only...... Anyone???? I really ashamed that your garage is in Ireland for me its a litlle to far to go with auto in imp mode. If somebody know somebody like they say I beg you help
Hi! Mazda 6 2.2d 2009 with some sort of too low power on low rpms. No faulty codes. I noticed some hasitent when i go up for a hill och lower rpms... its like it small jumpy but not so hard. I had before bad intercooler, and its fixed now and dpf lamp activited but did a dpf regenerated in diagnos system and code is gone. Any idea? I hear sometimes when engine is cold in the beginning drivning som push sound..when driving on first gear and secound.. like blow sound maby?. The idle is perfect... no stuttering when driving high rpms! Any idea? = )
I had - ●'turbo charger booster A system performance' error. ●'invalid data received from ecm/pcm B' error. ●'abs error' error All this after i changed the vacuum pump with an OEM part. It had me totally stuffed as to what i did wrong, the 'i-stop', and 'traction control' lights were flashing on dash, and the car had NO power, and in limp mode. I spent hours on the net trying to work it out, then i came across your video. I dont have a air compressor to blow the tiny hole, but i got a small bobby pin ,removed the hose, and two or three stabs at the hole, reattached the hose , AND ITS RUNNING LIKE A CHAMP 🏆 . THANK YOU !!! I must of jammed carbon up there when i put the new vaccum pump on. Who new such a simple thing could totally f%ck a car. Thank you again mate, you totally saved me.
You mentioned in the video that at that little metal jet there was "almost" nothing. Does it mean if the pipe is free, that you have a really noticeably suction there, which is increasing by higher rpm? I tested this today and for me there were not really a difference when accelerating the engine compared with the idle rpm. The suction at all was very weak perceptible. Thanks in Advance for your reply!
Hello. I've got the same car with the same engine (2016 mazda 6 2.2D 150hp) and I'm in a pickle. It seems like my engine is running rich as the fuel economy is really bad. Got it checked by Mazda and there was no errors. Intake was full of carbon so they've cleaned it for me and it is running much better but economy is poor. I've checked live data with my scanning tool and it appears I've got issues with 2 temp sensors with value stuck at -40 degree Celsius. One is called exhaust gas temperature bank 1 sensor 4 and another charge air cooler temperature bank 1 sensor 1. Would you be able to tell me where these are located on that engine or give me the part numbers so I can try to locate it? Any help would be much appreciated.
@@KhanKhan-lw8fw No m8, I'm still looking. I'm planning to visit Mazda back home as the guys from Mazda Coventry are useless (no error code=no problem for them). A co-worker has the same car. I'm planning to connect my scanning tool to his car to see what readings he gets (in case if my scanning tool is giving me wrong readings). What is your fuel economy? My gets as low as 32mpg in town and up to 53mpg on motorway.
Any experience with p0236? can't seem to locate what the problem is with my car...works fine, goes fine, but same errors all over again...4 lights pop up all time, SCBS, TMPS, engine light and 1 more.
@@Bevis91 ...good diagnostic it is a process eleminations step by step power supply, ground signal, and signal line , between sensor a engine ECU , hard to guess.
Great video! My CX-5 has the turbo loss, but only when it is hot and below 2500rpm. Could this be the cause, or if not, what else should I look at? No error codes. Thanks!
Hi, you should check small turbo system , very often the small turbo flap is lose or completely pop out then is no power under 2.5k rpm. It is possible Fix w/o removed turbo. Open inlet pipes and check the flap if is playing or disconnect from arm fix it 😏.
Hello, I just got a P0103 Code, sprayed the MAF with contact cleaner allowed to dry, cleared the codes but now have P0102, do you think I need MAF sensor anything else I should check? Car is a Mazda 6 2.2D
Hi, hard to say, check oring around the MAF sensor, next check power supply ground supply ECU signal, plug in the tester and check data , camper with amount Flo on idle rpm and on the drive . Depending results replace it or not 🤔
@@KhanKhan-lw8fw hi, if it show you -40 I think it is exhaust temp sensor number one. Open the bonnet and found it, next check resistance, probably will be open circuit or wire problem.
Hi have 2.2D my engine get to 3000-3500 RPM and burst out white smoke from exhaust, and drops power, it heaps in any gear, when it gets 3000-3500 RPM, what could be the problem, is it the same problem what you have? Went to dealer even he don't know what is the problem, they are guessing my be my intake manifold in full with soot, but they can`t guaranty that after cleaning which cost 600eur the problem will go away... What could you suggest ??
@@FixYOURride13 HI went to dealer they say there is no error codes, they diagnosed the problem bay looking in actives parameters when they push accelerator pedal and look at charts... they say intake manifold is full with soot you need to clean it and then they could figure oath watts next, car have 170 000 KM mileage
@@manhuntbeos ok so you know what you have to do... try clin up the inlet manifolds pressure sensor first. Strange that you don't have an error,🤔 maybe check the fuel filter and the t-bag inside the tank.
Hi. I've got a problem with loosing power (like turbocharger wasn't working) and automatic gearbox getting jerky, not holding nicely and steadily the revs. The issue is intermittent so it can go away after switching off the engine and then come back next day. I got changed a sensor for the DPF and the DPF filter got cleaned. New battery installed but none of this helped. Can I get in touch and show you a few screenshots taken today which might suggest what the issue is?
Hi! I have a 2016 with same 2,2 engine,Serious lack of power below about 2,500 revs, then picks up just as well as it always has and flies. I think the small turbo isn't working, workshop changed turbo and the problem is the same! Have maybe any idea?
Pozdrav, jeste li mozda rijesili problem i kako ako smijem znati. Imam mazdu 6 2017 godina i nece da vuce do nekih 2500-2600 okretaja i onda od jednom ide kao blesava. Hvala ljepa.
Hi I have a 2014 mazda 6 2.2 skyactiv-d. I changed the turbos on it, but now it doesn't want to boost. I have checked the small pipe from the video and it does work, its not blocked or anything, If I put a spare vacuum hose from that pipe directly to the turbos they do work, if i put the engine hoses it doesn't. I have also changed all 3 solenoids that are under the battery of new ones from the dealer and it has the same simptom: no boost, the main turbocharger hose that goes into the inlet manifold is sucking air and deflating, insteand of it getting bigger. Can you give me an idea what it might be? I also checked the wires at the solenoids and they do have 12V on them. Cheers !
@@kevinhancock4064 Found my problem. When I replaced the turbos I forgot to put back a vacuum hose to the egr near the DPF. I found my fault with a cheap ebay vacuum hand pump.
@@FlorinBlackD fair play and fair play to you doing your own turbo I know they're tricky to replace. One guy said it took him 9 hours to get it off . Mission indeed it all going well now is it ? Something that simple but causes a headache . I feel I may need 1 or maybe 2 solenoids get the odd moo noise but turbos are working OK. Had the turbo kit etc I didn't do it . .....all seems OK just trying to get regens lessened of possible I guess a clean or product to help . No emls just regens seem random. Others that have these (bit newer etc ) don't even notice them I definitely do I know when they happen
Thanks for the great advice. could you tell us a little more about how you cleared the blockage? was it just blowing in to the pipe or did you dismantle it first?
@@FixYOURride13 the black pipe u took off ? You blow into that yes ? I trued thus nothing went through it's misleading as I was unsure if it was the rubber hose or the silver stem part that needed clearing
