I absolutely loved my 6. Great looking, great to drive and great economy/performance mix from the old 2.2d 175 engine. I really hope we get the new RWD 6cyl replacement they’re developing on the new version of the Skyactiv platform.
I ran a 6 Estate for 5 years and about 80k miles - was very good, did some big trips in comfort. On "having to cope with cloth seats" - I am so over leather! Hot in the summer and cold in the winter (until the seat warmers kick in!), I much prefer a quality cloth these days.
1. All mazda sounds sweet, almost like a lower revving rotary 2. 2021 Mazda6 still looks beautiful despite being a facelift model 3. Gorgeous n sexy polymetal grey 4. Get well soon Rebecca, seems like you are having a flu
Earlier this year, 2023, I traded my 2020 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SV 4x4 w/ Rough Country lift and oversized mud terrain tires. Truck are fun, Ive had many, but I get older I realize I dont really need a truck. I dont haul gravel or furniture, I dont have a towable boat anymore, and Im tired of climbing in and out several times a day. I traded it for a 2021 Mazda6 Signature. OMG. This is much nicer than any Mazda has a right to be. I know the truck and the Mazda are in opposite classes. The truck was no slouch, but the Mazda is MUCH more premium feeling to drive and the interior design and materials are world class.
Electric = limited range, very expensive Hybrid = half a ton of batteries, poor consumption, very expensive There's nothing wrong with fossil fuel cars!
A very nice car. Why buy a so called (unreliable) luxury German brand. A lot of people are very shallow and think that if a car is branded Mercedes/BMW/Audi kid themselves that they have made it in life and have purchased the pinnacle of luxury cars. They are wrong. The thinking man would look further afield and maybe buy one of these.
Pardon mon français, but bollox to funky SUVs, big monolithic screens and ambient lighting. This is a great car, get one and enjoy the last decade of ICE powered cars.
Love mazdas, in particular the mazda 6, but unfortunately until they go back to the more practical hatchback version I'll have to pass, which is a shame as it still looks lovely, looka like a Bentley inside with that colour on the seats, and from the 3 mazda 6s owned, I guess drives awesome as well. Hope the sport still comes with bose sound system as that was awesome.
To be honest most of the toys mentioned I already own in my Fiesta Active X so why spend money on a bigger car that comes from overseas and is not a great improvement on previous models? Nice jumpsuit Rebecca !!
Electric/hybrid aren't important really, 2030 mazda will have to have one or other then, so buyers can get one then, but for now let's enjoy cars for what they are, a to b, fun to drive etc...., and in the case of the 6 not a bad looking motor either.
nice review, but great looking wardrobe...in the states, the Sonata is less expensive, longer warranty, better mpg, matching turbo power. nobody here buys dirty diesels....
never buy a mazda let alone the 6 Worst car i ever bought ... didn't even last 60,000 miles Before I had to replace the motor all out of pocket.. Stick with Toyota
Every brand has lemons, especially when the car first comes out without any "real world' testing, and everybody goes to buy it because they must have something new and shiny. Looks like you were the test subject/Guinea Pig weeding out all the faults in order for people like me to buy one 8 years later. LOL. Nevertheless, you will find that Toyota and Mazda are now working together in joint ventures, so expect to find Toyota parts in Mazda's and Mazda parts in Toyotas. Brand snobbery is something of the past for the savvy consumers.
