zum ersten Mal seit über zwanzig Jahren startete beim Rennen der Gruppe-C im Mai 2014 ein Mazda 767b wieder in Europa. Musik aus dem Vier-Scheiben-Wankel
That sound cuts through all others. It sounds so good that it's visceral. I wonder if it was an accident or engineers actually tried to make it sound this way.
Was there at Le Mans when it won , awesome we camped right next to the track in the days when you could...would wake you up almost every lap ! Even with the amount of kronenbourg we drank :-)
Hello from 2 years in the future where boring homologated GT cars have only further infected the LM-P series further. Boy do we hope you're a HUGE fan of the BMW M-6 because if it isn't one... It's been designed to look like one! Sorry.
overpowers? The 787B won 1 race of 21 it started it never set fastest laptime or a pole position time... at the start it was way back in the field like it was in the 1991 season... only pure luck let it won the 24h of LeMans. 1991 World Sportcar Championship results of the 787/787B 1. race Suzuka 6th. 2. race Monza 7th. 3. race Silverstone 11th 4. race LeMans 1th 5. race Nuerburgring 5th 6. race Magny Cours 7th 7. race Mexico City 9th 8. race Autopolis 9th and 10th overall Mazda finished 5th whooping 61points behind 1th Jaguar and laughable 4points ahead Porsche 962 raced by private team Kramer... at this time the Porsche 962 was already 7years OLD and still competetive enough to fight it with the 787/787B
Spa Classic, wurde zum vierten Mal durchgeführt von Peter Auto aus Frankreich. Die Gruppe-C ist Ende August auch in Zandvoort beim Zandvoort Historic GP.
rysho1 wow you're an idiot, that knows nothing about rotary. ''12-15k'' Really? It's worst for the rotary to rev faster it has seals on the rotor that have to width stand so much centrifugal force.
MidShipCivic the 787B had a more advanced engine hten this and that could do 11K max in qualifying and around 9,5k during the race so you are absulotely right in saying this is nowhere near the 12k to 15k mentioned earlier.
Having seen this car in person, trust me, it sounds WAY better up close, if it doesn't already sound good enough in videos. Definitely one of the loudest, if not the loudest car of it's class.
dbruin03 I think a jet car would sound more like the Gas Turbine cars from the 60s most famously of the 1967 and 1968 Indianapolis 500 "Woosh Mobile" as some called it. There was also a few Gas Turbines to enter Le Mans too.
