I bought the same car as yours (white)

Just bought my 2017 CX 5 GT a week ago. The only problems I have with it really is the MPG. Not terrible but defiantly lower than comparable class CUV's.

white as a color on the Mazda CX-5 does not work. It just looks awful and does not bring out this beautiful vehicle at all.

Most beatiful SUV together with the Jag F-Pace

Two comments. First it is not 100kg heavier than the previous model but barely 50 Kg heavier than the previous model. You have to check the brochure and report correctly model to model. Petrol model with 2WD and manual gear box weighs the least. So if I compare the last year's petrol manual to this years diesel automatic, it is going to weigh almost 100 kg more! Next the fuel consumption in my petrol ( 2.0 lit model 2017) is city 8.0lit/100km and mixed 7,6lit/100km.

Very good review and the camera work was good as well. I just wish you spoke a little more about the way it rides and how the 2.2 diesel engine feels and sounds :) It did seem like the cabin is well insulated from the engine noise because you didn't have to raise your voice and we barely heard any hint of the engine.

how much mpg were u getting in the diesel? the US doesnt have that engine yet and was just curious

Nice video... People complained about the noise level. I own a 2016 CX5 this is the one where they had added addlt sound insulation. I think the car is plenty of quiet. Although people still complained and Mazda felt they needed to improve on this.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and I am glad for You to like this car so much. On the other hand almost everything on this car You like so much I found particularly unpleasant and outright ugly. To me this Mazda looks like an albino frog on wheels which had a physical altercation with an army truck. A diesel engine with a growly sound?? You gotta be kidding. Driving dynamics don't seem to interest You very much. Just looks and gadgets.
