I'm by no means a candy expert.. but I've become more picky about my base gun than clear. It just makes candies and metallics so much easier to do and for those of us who do this for a living that's worth the price of a good gun any day.
I want this color on my Ford super duty once all the bodywork is done. It's even prettier than the Ford Ruby red which was what I originally was thinking about!
Kandy man with glasurit 90 line 3 coats of candy is all you need on that color and it matches perfect if you put four way too dark !!!!!! I love that color!!!
You should check out New Porsche Saffron Yellow, i hate Yellow but that new Yellow they have is very pretty. From what i was reading, it requires a ground coat, Clear, Mid Coat and final clear. Not sure how true that is but it looks bitchin
Just started spraying my s10 stepside with this 46v using matrix mpb lv, quick question I'm stressing on the bed pieces (steps) butt matching. The only way to get complete color change is with parts off. Any suggestions? Great video
Thanks for the videos your work is awesome. I am currently spraying this at work with Sherwin 9k water. Any tips for getting trash from my gun in the 2nd coat of mid?
I went back and tried nibbing it out and ended up rolling the color down to the sealer. What a mess. Lol. I guess I will have to start from scratch. At least it is just a hood
I do all over paint jobs about 3-4 times a year as a DIY Guy and just invested in a IWATA LS400 Base Coat gun as well as the WS400 Clear gun both Supernova, have you had any spray time with these guns?
When you’re spraying UK Kandys if you get trash in the kandy what can you do about it? Or will it not be that noticeable after clearing and wet sand and buff?
You do a good demo thank you, This paint color is Mazda soul red? do you know if it is a different shade to Renault/Peugeot candy red? For plastics i would need an etch primer followed by a bright aluminium base? Barry
@@kandyman5315 i just want something like what colours the need to mix code for those colour, how many colours needed as well types of those colour coz i want to paint my H1
I am very surprised I don't see more of those mazdas with that color. Paint rep told me the small metallics for 46V are made in their own factory so there's no chance of contamination with any other metallics. In some paint lines its actually a quad stage with the tinted clear like RR can be. Good luck cutting in the jamb is all I can say. 🤮
