Good tip ! Put just a little sealer on the edge of fender where the bumper meets the fender u will get a better match on low hiding colours

Looked like a tough one to match but you did a great job. When you painted the wing with the tinted clear, it must have been hard to avoid it being slightly darker where it overlapped the original paint.

Just perfect! So how this works? You charged the client to replace and repaint only the bumper? Who pays for the fenders? In Quebec we only get paid to do the bumper, I have been fighting with the insurance companies about it and they don't care. Thanks

If any painters around Las Vegas or within a couple hours of Boise have this paint mastered, I have a door that needs repainting on my otherwise beautiful 2020 Miata RF. I had a random rock get kicked up and into my door by another car at 2,500 miles. I already had the dent fixed and the door repainted, but the shop didn’t get a great match. I need to find someone that’s got Soul Red Crystal figured out. I had to have cars to carry my kid around, then my grandkids. 3 months after I finally got the first car I’ve ever really loved and It’s gone from making me weak in the knees to sick to my stomach.

I enjoy spraying these types of tricode , blends nice and rewarding when done right. Another great vid 👍

Can the tinted clear be color sanded and polished?

Hello! This could be the best place for me to ask this so here goes.. I want to fix some rock paint chips on my Mazda 3 46V but I would need base coat + midcoat/tintedcoat + clear coat bottles. Where can I buy these bottles in Europe, specifically the midcoat for 46V since I only found the base and clear coat bootles?

Hey quick question. I sprayed my clear around 2 days ago and it looks like it has white cloudy bubbles inside the clear that cant come off with normal sanding and buffing. It actually made it more clear to see the white blemish lol. Can you tell me what might have i done wrong. I have sprayed dozens of time and its the first time ive seen this. By the way your videos are awesome man, I watch you and the gunman on a daily basis. keep re watching to keep learning.

I only do restorations with a few collision repair jobs here and there. I have a customer with a 62 impala who is set in stone wanting me to paint his car this color. However I am worried about the tint coat being like a tri-coat and changing the color depending on the # of coats. Also, if I plan to wetsand and buff it, im worried about stacking too much od DCU2021 on top of the tinted clear also. HELP! lol

So the real tip is just blend it . 🤔 pretty much ever get luck with a butt match in this color I just a 2021 cx7 with ppg waterborne prime wasn't perfect but it's a bumper . It was pretty good for a candy I usually spray rm diamont solvent.itnwas so bronze in rm .

you put your finger in the spray mask on the window. You're going to get over spray in that little area...
