It’s way better than the Rav4, Rouge, Forester and CRV. I don’t know about others since I have only owned those.

Just a full explanation of the side mirror controls?

​@@JSS As I could see there are around 5 or 6 buttons on the rear view mirror (not the outside mirrors), short info about those buttons would be nice ;-)

@@olma1969 Those buttons are for homelink and the power of the auto dimming mirror. Homelink is used for garage doors and other remote items.

In Canada yes - brown nappa leather, 360 degree camera are the main upgrades

No, I have a 2021 and it does not. The 2020 models had that on the MyMazda phone app, not sure about the center display. I was surprised and disappointed the 2021 models don't have this.

@@marksalvetti6985 Yeah, that is a disappointment when most cars have that. I guess it's better on the app. Are you able to check pressure on the app while the car is off?

@@hv8074 No, that's just it. Even in the app, the 2021 doesn't show tire pressures. But the 2020 does have a tire pressure screen on the app.

I’ll double check. Have not hooked up any 2021 on the app yet.

It’s close between Grand Touring and Carbon…Carbon probably wins.

Jim-I went looking for the carbon (called Kuro here in Canada) & GT. Bought the GT. Carbon-less upgraded. Base engine, no navigation + regular lites. GT adds LED lites, full navigation, bose stereo, heads up display. Part is budget based but GT is way more upscale. Carbon/Kuro is mostly cosmetic diffferences vs the GS

No, the navigation card is free with the Signature model, but you have to buy it separately for the GT-R.

@@jimmy9184 Do you own the navigation card? If you have a 2020 or older model, you can buy a navigation card on Amazon or eBay for around $50. It may be a year old so not the most current, but it does come with three years of free upgrades. If you have a 2021 with the new wide screen, those cards don't work. The best price I have seen for the new card is about $250 on eBay. I'm expecting that the prices will drop later this year, especially after Mazda issues an update. Go to the CX-5 forums at www.mazdas247.com and do a search there for more info.

@@jimmy9184 you have to take that up with the merchant on Amazon. That’s the catch that happens some times with that cheaper option.

@@JSS yes wireless CarPlay is present in my GT, but I’d rather prefer the new infotainment system. I plug my phone in anyways so it can charge while I drive
