Ah the lizardmen. I look forward to seeing if other legendary lizardmen lords are brought to the spotlight. A video about the natural history of lustria and the thunder lizards that dwell there would be cool. Example- carnosaurs, dread saurians, ETC.

One thing I'd like to add is that while the Slann were "slumbering" they were building the great warding, an Improvised shield for the world made out of repurposed old one magic.

The Children of the Old Ones have many of my favorite characters. Kroq-gar: has been a living slaughterhouse for thousands of years. Nakai: was eventually left to hold a bridge alone against Chaos and traumatized them. Oxyotl: hunted Chaos in its own home and retained his sanity. Mazdamundi: dark elves invading? Let me just create a living MOUNTAIN CHAIN just for the shits. Love them all.

@14:04 I really like that artwork for some reason. I don’t think I’ve seen it before from any army book. Mazdamundi’s name means Light of the World in Latin I think? I like to think WH Fantasy and 40k parallel/temporal dimensions, in my own Head Canon that is. And I like to think of the Slann Mages as the "Shamans" that gave birth to the Emperor of Man. While the Emperor slumbers, Mazdamundi can awaken in his realm.. (Of course I have other Head Canons specific to 40k about the Emperor, Golden Men of Golden Age, Custodes etc..)
