WHAT a song! Love Frankie and Maze! LOVE them! Most underrated band in the history of music. They should be in the rock and roll hall of fame! It's BS that they're NOT! Total BS! I'm a white guy musician who knows what GREAT music is and this is GREAT!
My husband who now is in heaven used to play this album and we would sing this and dance with eachother..I miss him with all my soul and what's left of my heart..#restinpeacejoe
I feel so bad for the kids today that they never got to hear R&B during the golden age: 75 to 95. The early 80s was the best music of that era. Its sad. At least I was there to see and hear it. I wouldn't trade that time for anything.
Thank you Frankie Beverly, This is of your most beautiful song ever! I’m still enjoying it some 40 years later👌These were the kind of songs that made my Disc Jockey work a pleasure doing👌👌👌
my favorite version of this song,Frankie and Maze were at the top of their game with this version, voice as smooth and pure as silk, real true musicianship,no gimmicks,no autotune for the vocals,no computer generated anything just Maze doing what they do and that is:ROCKIN THE HOUSE
That is a true song that's the way I felt when I was going with my man I think I made a baby off this song now that baby is 37 years old and something else but I love my son my man used to sing that song to me I can tell that you're falling in love with me with those big brown eyes that's what he used to always say to me now he's gone son look just like him that's a true song
Frankie and MAZE one of the best live performing groups ever! The original band was off the damn chain live. So glad that I was able to see them at the top their game.
OMG I got the chance to watch them twice and each time was on point,.along with the original temps, they r my two favorite groups of all time.,hands down
I had the privilege to name my daughter Beverly and my son Frankie. They were actually named before they were born. Just love this man. Thank you Sir for the wonderful memories. God bless you. ❤ ❤ ❤
The most high truly blessed Frankie Beverly to have the gift to make beautiful music I'm sure he knows how blessed he truly is from the tribe of Judah😇
Ever get those moments when you wake up with a particular song on your mind for no apparent reason? And when you get to listen to the song you suddenly understand exactly why the song haunted you from the moment you opened your eyes?
Saw them after this album was released. Their sound is simply FANTASTIC & Frankie makes you think he's singing just for you. Such a warm, soulful voice/personality. This was the last song of the night with EVERYBODY standing up, singing, and dancing to this lovely gem. We kept singing so long that THEY CAME BACK & jammed it some more with us. Frankie & the guys were cracking up!!! Man, those were the days of great live music!!!
I love this song as well as I love all of Frankie Beverly's songs. I have seen him live several times. He is phenomenal and extremely talented. God bless you Mr Beverly.

Such a beautiful song... Heard it just now on Magic 102.3 and I have to dedicate this one to my twin soul, Mark Bailey (4/26/73-7/1/03). May he rest in eternal peace in heaven until I meet and love him once again... "I wasn't playing hard to get, I really couldn't see but that look in your eyes, now I know you were in love with me."
I have had a very busy week. I normally don't play music in the mornings. I can tell by the look in your eyes is keeping me awake. It also remind me of my husband. A hard working guy. 🙏
This Song puts you back in a wonderful place in every bodies life, this is when music really meant something, what a good feeling, Maurice Crook from Memphis.
My mother (Forever RIHP) wore out this song as well as the rest of the cassette. So I bought her the "Live In New Orleans" CD and she wore that out too! She loved her some Frankie Beverly!!
The second jam by these celestial musicians, I was only a pre-teen but I could feel my spirit moved when hearing the band play this tune, nd Frankie omnipresent voice!. Love Maze nd Frankie B.!.
I love this song! And the sound of the instruments just does something to my soul. It's one of those songs that keep me pressing the replay button repeatedly. And he says “Come on, right here” Hey!
Great memories behind this music. I played this vinyl on my turntable till the grooves wore away. Someone needs to find out who has the master recording of this concert performance and digitize it.
Back in the day my cousin Chris had the 8 track of this album but he didn't have side 2 or 4 but thanks to my brother Suav Harv he bought the whole double album, and YOU LOOK SO GOOD TO ME MY BABY!!
This song remind me of my childhood. My daddy had a store and my sister, brother , and me, we helped him run it. We used to listen to music all day. My brother Phillip had all these albums and Frankie Beverly and Maze was one of them. Everytime a hear these songs, it brings back good memories!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, ITS 2016 and this song still reminds me of when I saw maze in concert in 1996. We were steppin in the Isle! Chi-City was having a blast that night!. Anyway, this is one of the best songs to step to! Thanks Maze!
