I would be really frank with you, hope you don't mind. 1. Do you have any reservations? because with your profile, you would need to score in excess of 99.8 percentile in CAT to even dream about getting into FMS, TISS is good but not at the level of FMS. 2. Also please educate yourself on consulting and HR, these two are highly different roles and require different skills. From a difficulty standpoint, getting a consulting role in an MBB is leaps and bounds harder than getting hired into HR. MBBs or other highly acclaimed firms only tend to hire the top students from top B-schools and I am afraid they won't bother hiring from TISS. 3. All the best for your CAT exams

Never join any company which has no history of hiring MBAs . Your degree will bring tonnes of insecurity in their old employees and they will challenge even relevance of your MBA for their industry.

Sir that's a loaded question. You are in. Govt job and getting an MBA will get you a very decent pay increase and that's the motivation for many. Job security is definitely lower than a govt job but you get to do and learn a lot more in MBA... you have to take a weighted approach that suits your cause...
Hii sir, i am actually doing Bcom hons from DU SOL. I joined this open University because i was doing CA also . Currently in CA inter and will clear it in may 24. But in 25 , my bcom would be completed but i would not he done with CA course. So please tell that if i score the bestesttttt of the marks in CAT, will this SOL degree be of any hindrance. I'll give you a brief overview IIM A/B impossible you gotta crack that 99.97 barrier when it comes to these colleges they want 9/9/9 profile and if you're from common background which is engineering/ finance then competition is even high those 9/9/9 academics become 10/9/10. You've got good enough marks till now but apparently not enough for IIM A/B. Other IIMs are also good... don't just aim for A/B they're currently easy cracks for other backgrounds get some weird degree that you're unheard of 98 percentile and you're good to go. In short just take a look at their website and selection criteria and target where your demand is

A decent college will open a lot of avenues. MBA admission will need some capital so do calculate the ROI based on the placement reports. If the college is good... Tension will be less

Bhaiya good mba colleges like xlri and iim fees are close to 25 lakhs in how many years loan gets repaid if one get's lower than average placement in these colleges.
But sir 25L loan, assuming a person from a tier1 college graduates with 1.2L(modest figure i guess) and even if he pays 50k every month towards emi, it would take atleast 4 years just to reach 24L (not even including the interest markup). Please correct me if I'm wrong.
