A REALLY GOOD BIT . i didnt mean to make this 4 minutes but the more the merrier huh?. this took like 230 pictures and im so tired mmmmfollow my instagram if you wanna see more!!! @isahowdy (heart emoji)
My favorite genre of MBMBAM joke is "One of the boys fails at telling a joke and the other two force him to do it again while providing their own running commentary."
@@creditroll176 ngl this was 8 months ago, even i dont know what the fuck i meant. I mighta been riffing on it being his brother doing a voice? But i dont know!
I just read that Nick Offerman, while playing Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation... used to stay in character and not break by pretending he was SUPER annoyed by all the other actors doing their funny shit... reading that the other day and reading this OP today... makes me wonder if Travis has a similar technique when it comes to Griffin and Justin. ;)
I love that even in make believe universe where Justin is a stand up comedian who never got over his social anxiety, Travis is 100% supportive and is like "We love you! YOURE DOING YOUR BEST!" like god damn these boys make me so happy
"I was looking into... recen-um-uh- recently I had reason to look into what bean bag *breath* filling is made out of?" Translation: "Recently baby daughter ate some beads from a bean bag and I had to Google it IMMEDIATELY."
Man, what the fuck did people even do before Google? Just, like, not let their kids eat shit they found laying around? That must've been wildly inconvenient
@@_ArmIa I know this is like a goof comment but that reminds me of a time when I was 'lil. This wasn't really before google but my parents didn't use it much at the time. anyway, basically once upon a time, when I was a tiny kiddo, I used to always play in this sand pit we had, building castles, fake food, etc. and I knew not to actually eat the "food", but evidently.. my new friend, that I had over for a play date, *did not* . We also had indoor-outdoor cats, and this sand pit was kind of..used as their 2nd litterbox? (I don't know why my parents even let me near it, knowing that lmfao, but!) but to get to the point, I made her some kind of liquid-y dish out of sand/mud/leaves/poo remnants. and...she ate it. just, gulped that (literal)shit down. I was horrified sksjks. So I took her to my parents and they just gave her ..mustard water ?? to try and get her to throw it up I guess? Didn't contact poison control or anything, just mustard. (it didn't work, but she survived. and her parents apparently never found out)
I love the personal touches! I love that you didn't just draw them talking, you really put them in an environment and gave it its own story too. Like idk the part where he moves the guy's mouth. Or lays down on the stage. It's so funny and so interesting. You've got a really good storytelling ability :) love this!!
“i do a podcast with my brothers and we had a question about beanbags-the stuff that’s in beanbags so i was looking up refills-beanbag refills” “we’ve all been there!”
This is golden cause like, his brother knew it wasnt tht funny to begin with so they helped him spice it up 😂😂 even when the punch line wasnt funny the second time, they still tried to get something out of it 💓💀
It's so pure that Justin had to pick out one fictional audience member to tell the joke to rather than the entire fictional audience. Justin's such an INFP special boy.
As an INFP, no wonder I relate most to Justin. It's like... Griffin is who I wish I was, but I'm closest to Justin. Also an oldest brother. Of 1 younger sis, though.
Wow, I’m responding to RU-vid comments but more importantly SAME. Would not have pegged Justin as an INFP, but definitely relate to “wow, Travis is so nice but I *get* Justin.” Also the oldest sib hooray for us.
Writing on Games Mr. Black, you always pop-up throughout all McElroy-related RU-vid comments. Would love to to hear you and Nico trading quips with the brothers at some point.
I know that Justin is a master at the art of pretending to be inept at telling jokes, but it truly feels like he was sucked fully into this world where he has to tell a joke on stage and has no idea how to fucking do it. He struggles with it so sublimely
I once walked past an open computer science lecture at my university and this animatic was playing on the overhead projector. The professor was having his students watch it. To this day I still don't know why.
This was so worth it! Great job on the expressions! The way they force Justin to tell his awful joke and then get totally lost in their own bit is a joy.
last night i went to a sex store for the very first time and ever since then i've been disassociating and i don't know what the fuck is real or not but this This Is some Good Shit right Here charline x justin OTP
This feels like an actual open mic night at the local cafe 😂😂😂 just as awkward and uncomfortable as actually being there, I love Justin’s awkwardness and then the sudden unashamed flirting 😂😂😂
Don't you hate it when you really like something but can't articulate exactly why, so you get stuck with just something like "I love it!"? ...because I love this thing. A saucy bit with some precious visual spice. Very yes!
Somehow I've restumbled across this 2 years later and was about to comment the exact same thing.Good to know my humor hasn't changed. This is why we always check the comments first.
Juice, Being The Biggest Brother He Is, Using Common Sense and Science; You probably shouldn't eat that. Travis, Being The Middlest Brother; You're not a scientist, I'm gonna eat that. Griffin, Being The Babiest Brother; You're not a scientist and Travis is eating that so I'M gonna eat that.
I’m sure this whole video is great but unfortunately I can’t watch the rest because I cannot stop replaying the first 10 seconds the drawings are too fucking good and well timed I love it lmfaoo Edit: Finally mustered up the courage to watch the rest and thank god I did this was great the expressions were so so good
I love it when people caption their animatics. The obvious benefit is accessibility, but the best thing is when we get "Griffin: (explodes into laughter, possibly dies)"
it's been months since you posted this and there has not been a week that has gone by without me thinking about it. it's so good. the bit is great on its own but you elevated it and i love how your style is so simple and sketchy but you pack so many nugs into it. fits the source material so well. amazing!!!
