i don't think Costco count as grocery store. In credit card category, it counts as wholesale store. if 5% reward can apply to Costco, people will go crazy for this card.
@@abekor70sadly nothing, not expert opinion but I suggest the westjet rbc world elite. Although westjet isn't an airline that flies worldwide so check their destinations before signing up. But for sure it's way better than the crap costco card

The Cobalt is a great keeper card. Even if MBNA becomes transferable to Alaska Miles. the Cobalt's 5x earn rate in popular categories and transferability to Aeroplan, British Airways. and others, makes it world class.
I can’t find any useful partner tickets on Alaska website now, what happened? Why AS parters don’t release rewards tickets ? Before pandemic, AS is the best reward program in Canada , 50K business to Asia, now is “garbage “, the only interesting redemption is YVR to Fiji / New Zealand on limited dates, sadly I am in YYZ and time is not flexible
