Alright, I know a lot of people have asked but I wanna confirm it myself. I see this says it is the MBRP Race Catback in the title, however when people have asked, you have given them the street catback link. Is the exhaust in the video really the Race? Or the Street? Thank you.
Great sounding exhaust. I have one question though: is this the Race or Street Catback? Because the title says Race but you put a link in the comments that takes us to the Street one. Which one is it? I'm really interested. Thanks in advance.
I’m looking into getting myself a 2.3 symbol like the one you have. I’ve looked on different websites but the one you have is the best I’ve seen. Where were you able to get it?
Great sound! Just what I need, and thanks for uploading! Btw, may I know in what way the Y pipe is helping the sound? Cuz I am wondering if I do need to get a y pipe in order to have the same sound or the mbrp along would work. Thanks a lot!
+Chris W. the Y pipe acts just like the GT resonator delete. But it also spits the exhaust into the duel setup like all mustangs are now since it's an inline 4 rather than a V6 or V8 where its duel from the get go. Glad I could help!
We just jacked it up with a small jack and jack stands had the rear up about a good foot or so and that left us enough space to do everything easy enough.
Jeremy Montemayor if you got to Google images and type in 2.3T mustang emblem install you should get the image of a guide. Print it out and use that as a guide on your car. Let me know u can't find it and I'll send u the link
The cat back will come with everything necessary to install it. No welding needed unless you want to seal it all up tight. Installation is very straight forward. Hardest part is getting the stock exhaust off. We did it in less then 2 hours with it jacked up on two stands in the garage and just hand tools.
+Tech E Coyote Thank you very much. How does the sound compare to the MagnaFlow street series or competition series. The other important question is does replacing the exhaust void the warranty of the car?
+Praveen Bhasker honestly not to sure as I haven't heard them in person. But most clips I've seen for most Eco exhausts are very raspy, this one on the other hand is not. As far as warranty if you do it on your own it will void your exhaust warranty only. If you had Ford do it, it would not but who wants to pay them to do it if you can right? Haha. You could always put it back on for warranty purposes if you really had to but that's up to you.
+Praveen Bhasker Any time! Glad I could help! :) if there's anything you need a video for let me know and I can get his Eco back for an update. Don't forget to subscribe! 👌🏾👍🏾
+DJ JONES The v6 has a duel exhaust setup like the GT. since its not an inline motor the standard would be an X or H pipe since the exhaust is coming from both sides of the engine not just one like the Ecoboost i4
+DJ JONES as far as I see it's a complete duel exhaust from ford. I did see the Eco boost F150 looks to have a y pipe with a single outlet but the SHO has duel exhaust. Check out this video, it shows the entire exhaust from the manifold back and it's all duel pipe.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L_t3Bv4q6-A.html
No drone on the highway! within the respected speed limits anyway. When you start getting to higher speeds the exhaust note will start to come back just like if you were cruising the streets hitting the higher RPMs
