@@MIKE07S bro I recommend I love my ecoboost if you looking for a daily driver , you should get it you could get these cars around 25-28k just talk them down brother , but I do recommend the car I gap stage 3 Subaru STI and I’m stock these cars are quick !! But if you have the money get the gt bro not really a difference in insurance I’m 19 and you could get a gt for the low 30’s

I just recently got my 2018 ecoboost this exact exhaust and I absolutely love it, sounds awesome even with everything besides the exhaust being stock. My only issue is that my check engine light is on and I’m not sure why. It has just recently got out of the shop bc of transmission issues that are now resolved. Does anyone know what may be the problem?
Hmm did you install a downpipe with this exhaust? If so it’s possible it’s throwing a code for the Cat. I would see if you can read the code and go from there. Thanks for watching and glad you like the exhaust!

The pipe diameter is 3.5inch right? I’m thinking about getting that cvs catted downpipe and mating it to a single 3.5inch y pipe with a dual resonator *Edited a mistake*
I like the sound of this, would the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back Exhaust be the next step you talk about in the replies? as far as adding a Y pipe? or would i still get the same exhaust as you and then get a different part later on? Hey JP, no worries! I have another video on my channel showing the scavenger y pipe. You could do what I did and get the axle back first and then add the scavenger y pipe. I really like the sound with the y pipe. Or yes it looks like the American Thunder Catback is just both units in one package. So thats a nice option as well!

I bought the exhaust and I’m having secondish thoughts because in order to improve the sound more it seems like I’d need a Y pipe, but I just wanted to ask you how it sounds now with just the exhaust
I like the sound I have right now but I do think the y pipe will be my next step. I think it will give it that little bit extra I’m looking for. The nice thing is you can always start with the axle back like I did and add the scavenger y pipe to it if you want it louder. But everyone’s tastes are different lol. Thanks for watching!!

Any car back set up should bolt right up. I just did it in steps. Even if you bought the flowmaster outlaw axle back and scavenger y pipe at the same time you wouldn’t have to cut your oem exhaust 👍
Sure thing! I like both to be honest. I choose the flowmaster because it seems to have a bit more burble to it than the MBRP (from the videos I’ve watched). But both are great options! I may be adding the scavenger y pipe to this setup in the future as well.

It has a loud cold start, and is loud under full throttle. On the hwy or just cruising it’s actually really quiet. It’s a good balance if you only want it loud when your getting on the gas. Thanks for watching!

With this setup there was bo drone. Check out my more recent video with the y pipe installed. That setup has some drone at 2k rpm but not bad. Thanks for watching!

If you are ready to spend some monaayyy, you can make it sound good. First , i had mbrp catback on my eco but after sometime i got bored nd needed something louder. I went with flowmasters nd cvf Ypipe. Definitely louder nd much better tone but no pops on decels. Finally ugraded to Borla atak cat. Handsdown!!! The best in the game !! Pops without tune on decels . Very loud and has nice tone to it. All 3 setups mentioned were great sounding! And you could hear turbo spoools in all😄

A civic was my first car and I can tell you this does not sound the same lol! No buzzing. Not a v8 but better than It was in my opinion. Everyone’s tastes are different though.
@@tylerpelley8933 it’s less restriction to the turbo something like that and yeah it’ll sound a bit louder and in my opinion better too but you know everyone has a different opinion
