We Were The Only R&B Group That Performed On The Arsenio Hall Show 7 Times We Almost Did It An 8th Time But We Were Busy So No Other R&B Group Has That Record...One Love Fam...
you can't front on this... this was tight. Hammer was no lyricist, but the fool could dance his ass off. illest performer to ever be a part of hip hop... That's right I said it!
Arsenio had so much pull back in the day and he was the #1 supporter of MC Hammer. He was always on. I stayed up past midnight on school nights when he had the dope performers scheduled
@@tashicajones7328then became one of the early investors in twitter and made a lot of it back. People love dogging hammer oh and his new mansion is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
He must have been in the best shape ever.. That's just one song, and can you imagine a entire show.. Even the big dude was doing his thing.. Hammer always gave a good show..
This brother is 59 years old today and still looks the same. Probably can still perform the same too. He has incredible self motivation and discipline.
Man! I am so happy I went to 2 Hammer shows when he was in his prime we danced all night in the aisles and had a ball. Great show even my mom had fun and we left feeling so great. Hammer dont hurt em!
Sandra Ruiz Me too! I saw him in 1992 on his Too Legit 2 Quit tour. Nonstop dancing...we were exhausted by the end of the concert! That concert was so much fun!!
Looking back on these moments has made realize that I’ve forgotten what quality performances look and sound like!! I miss these times! Shout out to Hamner and the whole Bay Area for always holding him down!
Singer "B Angie B " stared it off by singing the intro she could sing and put out a CD of her own but with modest sales🤷 😔. But she still had the pipes to be on one of Hammer best songs in my opinion and my Top 5 on my list of favs , THEY PUT ME IN THE MIX a dance classic for the club scene😁👍
I have been going to concerts since I saw the Stax-Volt Review in 1965. I've seen Yma Sumac, LL Cool J, The Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Roy Orbison, The Doors, you name it. And still, two of the best concerts I ever saw were Hammer's at Madison Square Garden and the Brendan Byrne Arena. Hammer had as may as 40 people and more on stage as his Posse, and when he did "Pray" at the Garden he got 36 other rappers on a stage few of them ever mounted afterwards. He more than any other rap artist put rap on the BIG stages in the world. And the show he put on as far as I am concerned has never been equaled. More is the pity that people now criticize him when the worst thing he tried to do was to take the whole Posse up the ladder with him.
@@ertfgghhhh i never had a problem with hammer being a ENTERTAINER/Rapper so long as he OWNED that.. he was good at what he did.. he should have stuck with it... he's not a battle rapper or a hard core one.. he's an entertainer who raps
Notice from 3:56 til the end of the performance, he was bringing the Hammer in his pants! BOING!! Obvious that Aresenio saw it as well because he immediately says, "Come on over here and have a seat.."
MissCeo3000 well in all honesty rappers had a place to get promoted and interviewed at the Arsenio Hall Show, no one else was inviting them on talk shows at that period
Jeeezuz no wonder he went broke every awards showor show in general, he added 20more dancers jeeez, all he needed to me is the three girls, and the one guy, and too big Mc, like he had at the Apollo when he performed pump it up, or turn this motha out, talking about overkill.. Jeez
NotyNoty...I know. Even if that's the case, this was enough. Can't save everybody. Just saying, it became too much with the whole stage of people he had during the Two Legit era.
