Doing carnivore, eat a lot of beef & tallow/butter/ghee is the key to healing the immune system. Also, fasting. After I did Keto & stopped eating pasta, I found out I am gluten sensitive. No wonder all those years I suffered IBS, bloated, gas, diarrhea, etc. No more after cutting out veggies, herbs, & spices. Having this freedom from discomfort of IBS, is priceless. I also found that I am sensitive to mold. Eating more fat helps.

I'm glad you brought up the mind-body connection. My IBS came after a stressful event in my life at the age of 18 (my mom's colitis also occured after a very stressful time for her). This event triggered me because it reminded me of my childhood abandonment (subconsciously). It was too much for my body to handle and "digest," thus leading to the chronic digestive issues. Kenny Weiss says that all of us are wounded children walking around in adult bodies. The traumas don't have to be big traumas either to have lasting effects on us - my mom went on a 1 month long mission trip when I was 1. Some people might not consider that a big deal, but to me, it was the end of my world. Every time I was dropped off at school, I would re-experience the abandonment. The IBS came after I was dropped off at college. While I have gone to a lot of therapy and worked on myself over the years, my digestion is still not optimal. Once the IBS switch was turned on, it seems impossible to turn it back off. Carnivore is the closest thing to healing it.

Excellent interview! I just came upon your video, and she gave me Hope. Diagnosed with MS in 2009. In probably 2014-2015, I was given Gilenya, but it wasn't until I started on Keto January/23 I started to realize that I had mental fog. So, I looked into side effects of Gilenya, that sinusitis. That's why I had headaches, mucus in my throat, etc. Was Keto for about 3 mths. cause I wasn't feeling better. And, then I did an elimination diet. And, that's when I was allergic to Everything but ruminate meats..except for ground beef. . I ate beef & lamb for about a year. So I started on the Carnivore Lifestyle on March 30th/23. 1 felt amazing! Lost 30 lbs, got off all my MS meds, sleep was better, memory better, concentration better etc. I never felt better in my life since dx with MS. It was until August 24-31st, I realized that I was dealing with Histamine intolerance. Ugh! Can't have butter(and I love butter),,so I had to go with Ghee... which is not my favorite, bone broth, bacon & eggs. So I've tried all the vitamins that help with histamine intolerances, Probiotics and Prebiotics, enzymes, colostrum etc. Got over that, but now I have a my life since dx with MS. It was until August 24-31st, I realized that I was dealing with Histamine intolerance. Ugh! Can't have butter(and I love butter),, so I had to go with Ghee... which is not my favorite, bone broth, bacon & eggs. So I've tried all the vitamins that help with histamine intolerances, Probiotics and Prebiotics, enzymes, colostrum etc. Got over that, but now I have a histamine reaction again. So, now I'm on beef. My family doctor that I see an allergist, instead of a(last year) Gastroenterologist. Knowing that i had a histamine reaction. Wtf! So, now I'm a waiting list for a Gastroenterologist. Thought I had low acid, so I decided to start Betaine HCL that day August 6/24. Clearly I was wrong. Started with major cramping. Returned it. Now, I'm just to hear from the Gastroenterologist. I'm on a waiting list...6mth-12 yr. And, probably have leaky gut...all the symptoms point to that. My goodness! I'm so tired but never will give up! I'm gonna figure it out if it's the last thing I do. It may be MCAS! I'm not sure. If going to see a Gastroenterologist and still I am suffering, then I have no choice in seeing a Naturopath. I live in Red Deer, Alberta Canada 🇨🇦

This was such a great interview with so much important information! I've suffered a lifetime with histamine and Mcas with no help from any doctors. I'm so happy to hear the green light for Anti histamines Because I've had to take Benadryl so often. I've noticed that any Estrogen replacement therapy flares me up.. I really appreciate this. I'll definitely watch this at least twice., thanks!

I think maybe herbs aren't "strong enough" for parasites for a reason. Going on the all kill attack may kill them off too quickly. I think parasites are annoying but like all organism have a function. They may be eating heavy metals which can actually kill us when let loose. I clean every season with a bunch of herbs not just one or two. It has been slow but very effective.

Great discussion! I started Quercetin with Bromelain today, the OTC antihistamines were giving me horrible side effects and my histamine issues are through the roof. I'm going to be more diligent about taking my DAO. Hopefully I can get to the root of the issue. Things got really bad after 9 rounds of antibiotics last year so I'm still working on recovering my gut.

Look up Evan Brand functional medicine doctor. He can treat you right where you’re at. Amazing amazing Dr. it is expensive, but believe me it’s worth it. I had long Covid, Lyme disease, activation, mold exposure, I was having neurological and auto immune disorders. Basically my entire body went haywire prior to that. I’ve been in health my entire life and I’m 30 year-old female, I became so sick for years that I couldn’t even get out of bed and had no luck with conventional medicine. This doctor changed my life. You can find him right here on RU-vid and all of his information is linked on his RU-vid page.

Across the bottom of the video there is a row of icons. There's a rectangle with blanked out parts right beside the one that looks like a cog. Click on that and the words will appear on the screen. You can also go to the very bottom of the notes under the video and click on the 'Show Transcript' button and another box will come on to your screen with all the words written out for you with time stamps. Both systems let you monitor the written words as the audio continues.

Too much questions on statistics and percentage of occurrence and people affected. The most important parts to touch on are causes and treatment. Not a very good interview or the questions asked were just not on point. Too bad because this was a good opportunity to learn more on what to do with this condition since a lot of the doctors are not even aware of this condition

theres really no such thing as 'auto immune" The body is perfect and an elegant machine if balanced 'auto immnue' is used wen a doctor doesnt know and is too lazy to get to THE ROOT cause MCAS is common but often misdiganosed as seasonal allergies, eczema, hives erc

I would so much like to know if I have a food intolerance or just reaction on allergy tablets I take daily, or it's something with my gut organs. No one can tell. It's not only on some carbs, which I don't eat much now on Keto, but also on some meats, like lamb or turkey. Came after 45 all of this. But no menopause. 😢

You can get an IGg blood test done where 200 foods are tested for sensitivity. It's important to note that a food allergy is easy to identify since the symptoms come on rather quickly after consuming the allergenic food, whereas a food sensitivity is more sinister as it can take roughly 3 to 10 days after consumption of the offending food before a reaction is noticed. This makes it almost impossible to figure out what you're sensitive to. I've had leaky, itchy, scaly ears for 6 years and only after I took an IGg blood test for food sensitivity did I see that I'm highly sensitive to 18 foods! The majority of those foods I had not consumed for the past 5 to 10 years so I started with what I'd increased around the time my ear problem began. It was eggs! I LOVE eggs and started eating 3 or 4 per day. It didn't matter that I was 100% carnivore eating only eggs, bacon, meat & butter, as long as I was eating eggs, my ears were not going to heal. It took 5 months of going egg free before the ears started to heal. I strongly suggest you get an IGg blood test for food sensitivy!
