Mine is an old gas fueled 434. Will definately be doing this. Runs like a champ in the canadian winters.

I have the same tractor :). I need to change the cooling belt and was looking for a video how to change it. I hope i don't have to tear the whole front apart for it.

My 434 has 2 belts: 1 for dynamo, 1 for water pump. I had trouble with an official belt and ended up using a 15A0870 22345 size. The second numbers are inch, the first are mm metric. There was no normal tensioner on the main belt, but there is on the dynamo belt. The main belt top pulley opens up to free the belt. Look on the pulley on the radiator side to find a screw head and lock nut. Ease off the nut a bit then undo the screw. Hold the engine side of the top pulley while unscrewing the radiator side of the top pulley. There is a thread in the bottom of the pulley valley. When you open it up you can wiggle the belt past the fan blades and remove it. Reassembly is reverse keep screwing the pulley halves together until you get the tension you want. Be sure to get the screw to sit in one of the cut outs in the thread then tighten the lock nut. Hope your threads are not too rusty. Having got it to work the system seems quite neat. I did all this with the top flap open but main panels still in place.
