it’s so weird watching this as a Starbucks barista bc we have like 6 different steps that goes into making a caramel frappe and theirs is all premade in a bag 🤣
Whipped cream, drizzle or mocha if necessary. Milk, ice, frap (or creme) base, frappe or creme roast in blender. Whipped cream and topping if necessary,
The amount of work that goes into the engineering of a McDonald’s store is insane. The amount of coding, hardware, SOPs, and everything makes this job seriously dummy proof. Buy McDonald’s stock and hold forever. Give them to your kids.
0:05 This is really interesting. The bags are stored in a cooled fridge which is basically a large McCafe machine... Everything fits together like inkjet cartridges.
This guy is an owner/operator. His attention to detail makes sense as this is sort of like HIS pride and joy. A great pillar in upholding QSC for the company.
i feel your pain it's a horrible thing, it's even worse when i have to tell the customer to go to the next window because it's gonna take a few minutes to replace they get so angry at me. like i'm sorry i wish i didn't have to
@@Naifrexz McDonald's procedure for window is if it doesn't appear the item will be ready within ten seconds of the customer showing up at the window, you should park them to keep the line moving
@@elilogan8630 so many employees don’t understand it. It allows us to take more orders = more money. More profit. Of course if the store is falling apart or production is really slow then parking all the cars isn’t always the answer but it’s one of the first things that’s looked at.
caramel frappe's are my favorite drink to get at mcdonalds next in line is the chocolate shake, i get one or the other everyday when i come in to work. the true frappe experience is to add extra caramel and crushed oreos, trust me you can never go back to just the regular way its made after that
@@erikvilla8367 it may sound odd but it's really good and it is an actual combo they allow even for customers so explaining what you want should be easy
I worked at a McDonald's and was the maintenance man there and that was the one machine I hated cleaning but afterwards it made the great frappes, thank you for the videos they bring back great memories of my store.
all the beeping, god. my whole experience working there feels like a fever dream looking back. I feel like I just smoked a Newport and cam back inside watching this video.
I guess it's the angle of the camera and how tall you are but I find myself holding my breath thinking you're going to drop something. 😂 it's the weirdest feeling
I heard on the news today that a Big Mac made with chicken patties will be introduced in the USA soon. Apparently it was well received in the UK. Have you heard anything about that Stephen?
We don’t have this at my store yet however I have had people order this before and we will make it for you, it gets ordered as a big Mac no meat with 2 mcchicken patties and an ask me. Source: I am a kitchen manager
The frappes are great but one thing that ticks me off so much is when I’m about to get off work and all of a sudden 20 cars all want frappes and I’m not allowed to leave until I make them
1:24 That's crazy. This isn't even the newest tech apparently. They have a "blend-in-cup" McCafe machine. Welbilt Multiplex Blend-In-Cup IOB 600. Apparently, it's about twice as fast in the same footprint of machine.
If there was enough slots for liquid product, you might be able to have two of them in there, and require that the last or first person on shift do the changing if it's below a certain level. That way, it would never run out during a lunch rush. (Similar to how the shelf system can have multiple of one product.)
Oh my I remember when the person made one buy had to throw it away and then they spent 5 minutes trying to put the new bag of coffee in and then having to get the manager and they still couldn’t do it for another 20 minutes and then they told us it broke and offered a milkshake but we just said no thanks bc they ain’t the same things
Probably relatively easy for them to come out with a new sauce in a bottle. A little harder to retool a whipped cream factory perhaps? (Or, not any reason to change the existing product.) I suppose they could just slap a label on the metal Reddi Whip container?
