Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel for a quick unboxing, this is something different on the channel. What we have is the McFarlane Toys Batman the Animated Series 1/12 Scale Batmobile to unbox and compare to the original 1993 Kenner I had as a kid. I got mine in store at Target, I will link it below while its still available if you want to get one yourself!

Mcfarlane rereleased it. Dc direct made it originally. I have the first version. I think when AT&T bought dc comics. They fired everyone at dc direct. Mcfarlane inherited the molds for the Batmobile and Jokermobile. As well as the figures. But to be fair. Mcfarlane tries to keep his prices lower. Even though sometimes I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for Better quality.

This is a great piece. I bought a Mezco Golden Age Batman to put in the cockpit. All together with the lights and the figure, it looks awesome.

I remember an FB group which I used to be a part of during the pandemic had a lot of members mocking me and telling me I was stupid because I said McFarlane will bring back The Animated series collection. I guess I was right after all and those who called me stupid are actually stupid for not believing. I only mentioned it to the group when I saw the news that DC Direct will be under McFarlane toys.

Glad you got it. I have the original from DC Direct and it is awesome. I see that McF is re-releasing the Batwing. Hopefully the Batcave and Batsignal are next.

My will be arriving tomorrow and I can't wait. I was ready to purchase the original DC Direct version from a store for $200. Once Todd released the Jokermobile I decided to wait hoping this was next. I can't wait to have them side by side.

Was right there with you on almost caving for the original DC collectibles one. One can only hope this sells well enough where Uncle Todd will make a proper Batplane/wing from the Animated Series as well. I ain’t paying $500 for an original lol.

Exactly! Why are the exhaust tips lit up like taillights?? Ugh details... I'd sooner they not light up at all

7:10 shouldn't the 4 "taillights" under the jet engine be exhausts for the v12?

I have the DC Collectibles version and I don't think it has any light bleed in the canopy.

The light bleed isnt a killer given the circumstances but its noticeable when the canopy is close for sure.

You can probably paint the interior of the canopy with a coat of paint that will prevent light bleed depending on method and thickness. That way, it won’t affect the outside finish
