Yo Cleeter! Your Lenco's lock nuts on the shift rod linkage have backed off from vibrations. (They can be seen free spinning from the dash cam during passes) Double nut those babies so alignment doesn't change 🤘🏼 Good luck with the backfiring. It's so fun to watch you guys learn and improve!!

I miss ruby too but it was pretty much maxxed out chassis wise. They would have to put a solid axle in it and they already did that to Leroy. Mullet is the one that took the fast auto streetcar slot and nobody in the world would argue a foxboxy is a bad platform.

@@TunedbyTony that's what I was saying. The stock IRS and torque tube is the limiting factor. They already did the front trans and solid axle on Leroy. It doesn't make much sense content wise to do it all over again for basically the same results. It also doesn't make much sense to put a brand new engine in it when it can only go 8.50s and they have the blazer for that bracket and more cars than drivers at this point. Unless he's planning on turning it into a full blown promod with big tires but I don't think the corvette is the car to do that with anyway.

I agree he’s not just a good driver because he peddled one wheelie, but if you watch all his driving with Dr Tune ‘em all and Cleetus and even hear some of the advice his given other drag racing RU-vidr’s you can see and hear the experience and skill he has. I think it’s safe to say he’s good in his own way. Cleetus is excellent as well but different, he seems to be able to just communicate with whatever vehicle he’s driving and control it well, James strikes me more as a grind along, study his craft and get better that way... but hey there’s only so much you can understand a situation by watching edited footage 9 RU-vid so maybe I’m wrong, happy to hear other viewpoints.😊

The nut and bolt that goes through the Shifter has a lock nut on it so they are never tight, if they were you wouldn't be able to shift, if you noticed the Shifter arm's look like there loose.

Cleet you don’t need to spray the nitrous into the compressor inlet, the nitrous combusting in cylinder and increasing exhaust flow is spinning the turbine to get more turbo speed! Run it to a fitting in the piping to the throttle inlet next time or something like that. It’s going to be more inconsistent when fogging the compressor inlet like that
