Man 3ds Max is so powerful these tools are so underrated people just don't take advantage of it, You literally have infinite possibilities with this as well as OSL etc . . .
The biggest limitation of MCG that prevented widespread adoption is the mere fact that you cannot see in real time in the viewport what you're building. It's all good when you know your stuff, but for a first day starter on MCG, this is a major roadblock. Too bad AD can no longer update this otherwise great concept of node scripting... Great tut, btw!

You make modifiers, procedural models, controllers and the like, you don't use it for adding existing modifiers to other objects. That is what Max Script is for.
I know this is a year old, but I have a question: I followed along and made a wall, which is for a project. But I wanted to give a random rotation to each element of the wall, not gradually like you have, but random each time, so the wall is crooked. Is there a way to do it?
