My 6inch RC I had to cut and drill holes do I have to cut and drill anything to out this lift on? And how is it 7 to 9inches? The other 2inches is with the torison keys turned all the way up? And a add a leaf in the rear? Did you have to cut to install the front struts?
Yes you have to cut the cross member. The 7-9 inch struts have locking rings on the struts themselves to achieve the extra 2 inch for the 9 inch lift. The Mcghaughys left kit has 7 inch blocks. So you either sit level with the front struts set at 7” or you need to buy add a leafs to a hive the “level” look at 9”. Otherwise you’ll have a squat. Not citing for front strut install. They replace stock struts but keep stock springs.
Roughly $2300. I upgraded to braided brake lines as well because this kit you have to bend your hard brake lines a little. Other than that it’s your choice in wheel tire options for price. You’ll need bigger wheels. Kit says stock rims will rub.
