What no detachable speakers? Seriously could they put the tubes more in the way of the arm lift?

Thanks John, in actually operating the MTI-100,, we haven't had issues with the tubes blocking the arm lift - although it does look like it might

The style reminds me of my MA-252, cool & retro. If the style isn't you taste, there are other options. When you see them in person, well..... Just my 2 cents.

Agreed Jay, the look of McIntosh is either something one likes, or not. Those who enjoy the retro styling love it. There are other options if it is not one's cup of tea

Hi Vincent, thanks for commenting. Yes, it's a manual 'table, so we suggest adding one of the many aftermarket tonearm "lifters" that automatically lift a manual 'table's tonearm once it reaches the end of the record. As this is both an amp and a turntable, McIntosh opted to not have a dust cover, so as to ventilate the heat and extend the life of the product.

Hello Herbie, McIntosh's tuner technology is legendary. They made a choice not to include it as so many folks are now streaming internet radio stations - but yes, it would be even cooler if a tuner was also included.

Your Amazon storefront is trash. I placed an order on Nov 4 and it's now Nov 21 and shipping kept getting delayed with no reason. Decided to just cancel the order and buy elsewhere.

Hi Rhea, a small misunderstanding...while MTI 100 has a Bluetooth receiver, and will play your favorite tunes from your phone, if you play a record it goes straight to the amp and your speakers. Records sound really good. Reach out to us if we can help further: ask@gramophone.com
