Thanks for bringing back memories of the time when I really followed Formula 1 closely. I'm glad to see the actual decal sheet in the kit gives you the option of using the cigarette logos. If I remember correctly Protar did a number of these Formula 1 cars as well as 43rd scale racing cars, and I'm pleased to see the additional parts on this kit to make it more up to modern standards.

DH, It's a very detailed kit with some issues but in the end it looks great. Juest be prepared to do the work requisite of an old mold design! -Doug

Nice build and review. Just fyi, Gordon Murray was still at Brabham in 1986. The MP 4/2 C was the last hurrah for the John Barnard 4/2 series. Murray joined McLaren in 1988 and is given credit for the dominant MP 4/4. Interestingly, many in the know report that other designers who worked on the 4/4 car, including Steve Nichols, played much more important roles than Gordon.

Not a fan of smoking cigarettes but man does that Marlboro logo really compliment that f1 racecar.
