As you know, you & your mom are "spitting images" of each other. Your mom seems to be a fun lady to do things with. It's so wonderful to see that you two enjoy your time together. Time together is important! Good for you, Lauren in realizing that! My mom has long passed, but I have a mother-in-law who I used to do all kinds of things with. She's so dear to me! Now she's 84 & has dementia. It's so hard losing her. She knows me now as my husband's girlfriend. I'll take that! Thanks for taking us along as it was great fun to see the things you showed us.
Your Mom is sooooo precious!! Kinda cool to see what you will look like when you grow up (older) :) I look EXACTLY like my Mom and hope to be as cool as her when I grow up!! What is worse than a popcorn ceiling??? CARPET on the ceiling!!! Love the video...
“….it needs some updating…..”. LOL! That is an understatement! That house was sooooo cool! The furnishings reminded me so much of my childhood. I just wanted to run in and turn The Brady Bunch on on the console tv/stereo set. Wow! It was as if they bought everything brand new in 1969 and never changed or bought a single thing since that day. Not surprised to hear the roof leaks. Those non-pitched roofs always have major problems. We lived a few blocks away from a house in Arlington, VA (right outside of Wash DC) that was built by Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was really cool to look at but was impractical to own. The people living there had all kinds of problems with it. This was a really fun video!
I luv mcm!!! the green couches with matching drapes, YES PLZ!!! I can't handle popcorn ceilings let alone carpet...I felt the mold going into my lungs during this video!! haha..you look xactly like your mama
What fun. I must be vintage then or actually maybe antique .....LOL Love the mid century furniture and two of those pieces I have in my home here in white french provincial from 1965. I was going to give them away but perhaps I will redo them. LOL My father bought them when we moved west from Omaha. They are from 1965. :-) I also have some of them stemware I saw and my youngest daughter has them. I told her not to break them and some day she may be able to make a couple dollars on them. LOL Just kidding.............but I do have several items very similar. That is a fun day out with your mother. You look identical to your mother and I am thinking some of her photos at your age are spot on looking like you! Thanks for taking us along. That was fun and there definitely is something for everyone! ;-)
Your mum is so beautiful ❤, just so delicately spoken & dainty. Looks like you both had a fabulous mum & daughter day out ❤. I saw loads of things I loved, that vw for one haha,we have tons of them here in the UK though but they are beautiful! Some of those units and quirky items 😍 I would need a second mortgage to shop at those places lol.
Where is Junkstock again? You should take your family and a large van to the 127 yard sale in August (they have a website to view the map and so forth). Time spent with your momma is always special! Is she also a teacher?
Loved the junk mart you went to and found several things I totally drooled over... A pinkish corner couch, the yellow chair and curved couch set, and then that VW bus!! Looked like you both had a blast. Mom,how was the apple cider donut?!
great video. Loved junkstock another youtuber I follow Kristen Hoffman was there recently. Point of information, technically, vintage is 50 years old, antique is 100 years old////
Etsy says that vintage is 20 years or older. I’ve also heard that it is 40 years or older. Antique is definitely 100 years or older. I wish everyone would get on the same page! 😊
That house is so cool! I’m more of a Frank Lloyd Wright kinda gal but this house was way different! Who would think outside of the box enough to put carpet on the ceilings? Weird 🤨 Your momma is right this place was top of the line back in the day. It would be nice for a young couple to buy it and restore it to its former glory!
I’m much more use to Nieman’s filming…I’ve never gotten nauseous watching RU-vid before but the fast repetitive cuts always starting at the sky and sweeping downwards was like riding a roller coaster….🤢
