Actually this judge WAS for black & white ppl. Those of us who believe in the fellowship of all people as humans who ARE BLACK...ARE WHITE...ARE ASIAN...ARE HISPANIC...ARE NATIVE TO THE AMERICAS. HE SPOKE TO/FOR US ALL. All who believe in right things and justice FOR ALL! And he sure did demonstrate this in his summation. God has blessed him with a true discerning mind filled with compassion AND TRUTH! May the fair mentally balanced people of the land rejoice. And may those who disagree with this verdict and believe in injustice listen to what he stated and maybe a light of CORRECTION in their mind (the mind of "in ERROR" thinking) change for the better.

Edit: I completely disagree with your viewpoint of this case, but I believe that open discussion about cases such as this can bring us closer to a common understanding. While I agree that this is sound advice on how to live life, there have been many occasions where bystanders have saved someones life or assisted in an altercation that saved someones life. Here recently a little girl was saved from her kidnapper after a random person noticed her odd behavior. There was a scuffle and chaos in the attempt to stop the guy from fleeing with her. Ultimately the kidnapper was arrested and the little girl returned to her family. She had been missing for about a year. Its definitely a roll of the dice when it comes to these things, and the person making the decision better right. Because these are the consequences for getting it wrong. They are spending life in prison. Look at the people trying to stop Kyle Rittenhouse, they also got it wrong and paid with their life.

They didn't even know 99.9% of it existed or been on the land. Yet the Indians think they "owned it". The Indians had no govt. The Indians had no land records. If someone died..... that was the end of the "ownership" that they never had in the first place because they never had any govt to enforce it, or records about it. There were no land boundaries either. Telling someone you own the land "as far as the eagle flies" isn't specific. Futhermore you can't tell the rest of the world, many of whom were coming to America, to go find your own continent and that "we own it all", because there are only 7 continents and people have to live somewhere whether you like it or not.

Lot's of incompleteness on this trial. Arbery was snooping at the Satilla property for months, at least five different occasions, including at night. Arbery was also known nearby as the Robber Jogger, amongst nearby convenience stores. Arbery also had a schizoaffective disorder which made his behavior bewildering for the McM's. Arbery had to talk to cool things down,….. the McM's tried to talk with him but Arbery remained mute,…. and then aggessed on the gun,… the idea was that Arbery would stop, and they'd wait for the police to take over. They have remorse for this death, but, they felt justified given his repeated suspicious behavior and not acknowledging the callouts of inquiry about his activities. But, the McM's should've only monitored Arbery, in waiting for the police rather than getting up in his face,… other than to inquire. Life in prison is excessive for the punishment. Arbery is guilty also. And besides that, check out Arbery's criminal record over the prior decade.

The minute of silence he took was a galvanizing moment as it was only a fraction of the time that AA was faced with terror. With the humility the judge showed, I imagine him picturing a son or grandson of his facing that same type of terror and how he would feel if it was a situation that he himself had to endure. This is a honorable judge who held no bias and called it down the line like it was suppose to be called. Much respect to him for bringing forth a righteous decision.

No, he walked up to Mr Arbury, heard the incriminating statement, and simply requested crime scene tape, and walked back to his trunk. Then he told the 2nd officer on scene. "He's about to be 10-7." When people are together, they can function as a mob, and they abdicate their own feeling of moral culpability for their actions. It is a dangerous aspect of human nature, and one which can not be tolerated. Standing up to those around you and standing apart can be challenging, but it must be expected of all citizens. Arbery was snooping at the Satilla property for months, at least five different occasions, including at night. Arbery was also known nearby as the Robber Jogger, amongst nearby convenience stores. Arbery also had a schizoaffective disorder which made his behavior bewildering for the McM's. Arbery had to talk to cool things down,….. the McM's tried to talk with him but Arbery remained mute,…. and then aggessed on the gun,… the idea was that Arbery would stop, and they'd for the police to take over. They have remorse for this death, but, they felt justified given his repeated suspicious behavior and not acknowledging the callouts of inquiry about his activities. Around 1997 while living in Hampton, Virginia, I had a similar scary situation, but luckily I got away. I was walking home from work with a coworker. A block after the coworker and I went our separate directions I walked passed a driveway that had a truck in it. I didn’t notice until the truck attempted to start multiple times as I walked by. Once the truck started they passed by slow and said something I couldn’t make out, got to the stop sign and turned right. As I got to the intersection I found the truck was quickly whipping a U-Turn. I turned left and continued walking, but heard it speed up so I started jogging, knowing that the path I was taking was on the right a couple houses down. The truck increased speed behind me. I kept calm and jogging. As the truck got closer I did a 90 degree cut right, to the path leading behind the Middle School. From that path to my apartments on the other side of and across the street from the school was a good 4 football fields away. I ran it, holding both pockets of my Taco Bell uniform, in around 30 seconds flat. World Record timing. Barely felt like my feet touched the ground. My heart is racing now just remembering and typing this. 👊🏾

Let's be honest, Ahmaud was not training for the Boston Marathon. I'm a former long distance runner who used to run between 100-120 miles per week, during the U.S. Running boom from the 70's -80s. @@eveelee4152 Why would a black athlete run in a Lily-white confederate flag waving neighborhood, where even the 12 year old paperboy has a semi-automatic AR-15 and is part of the neighborhood watch team. And to make matters worse, he was frequently trespassing into Larry English's Home-under-construction. That makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever. I'm an Irish- American and i wouldn't dare go running through the Mission Hill Projects or Blue Hill Avenue, unless i wanted to get shot & killed for being white. And when i grew up in the D-St. Projects in South Boston, during the 60s -70s, it would've been just as dangerous for a Black Person to run through "Southie," where Whitey Bulger & Steve "Rifleman" Flemmi used to shoot at Blacks for target practice. Justice was NOT served. They were trying to protect their neighborhood and make a tiny mistake based on the letter of the law, that you actually have to witness a crime first hand before going after someone to detain them until the police could come. That's about all they're actually guilty of, otherwise they would have been justified and would have been let go free. That doesn't make them bad people.
