@@grantdomogala961 , I actually did a comment where it was a hypothetical and casted the MCU, but if made in the late 60s - early 80s. First was Iron Man, check out the comment, it's in the last Percy Jackson video Bryan Seeker posted.
@@sharp9150 that scene is on the dvd too. The part that was removed was the bit where he lists her crimes, finishing off with "the childrens memorial" or morgue. Im not sure. Just 1 line. Not really sure why it was cut. Maybe it took too much attention off cap to develop Black Widow, but it doesnt waste too much time. Another reason might be bc like budapest, it makes the audience expect payoff in the childrens memorial we're probably never gonna see.
@@dakota5031 Imagine Marvel cutting out the scene where Spider-Man/Peter lifts up the rubble as a homage to The Amazing Spider-Man #33. That was a BIG character moment.
@@Webhead19_62 but he was suppose to come after the snap right? Everyone would have been sad and crying. Then hulk comes. It wouldn’t have been a good explanation the deleted scene and how we saw him in endgame were not good explanations.
@Riley yeah like if his arm healed in seconds then he just went berserker on Thanos ass and actually did damage in order for Thanos to rip the power stone out of the gauntlet and KO Hulk till the snap. This would definitely make a Hulk VS Wolverine movie more palatable.
I honestly think that Infinty War was supposed to be a large loss, and we are supposed to feel sad, or defeated, but getting smart Hulk would be a huge win. Imagine Rhodes, Nat and Smart Hulk going to Cap and Thor, seeing dust on the ground, Vision’s lifeless body and being like, “What happened? Anyways look... blah blah blah.” Also, how does that happen naturally? I think that the gama-lab explaination was fine, and left a lot of mystery for the charactor, in a good way.
It made sense to me in Endgame because every Avenger changed over the 5 years based on how they handled their loss and grief. I assumed that Bruce and the Hulk merged at some point during that 5-year process, maybe thanks to therapy or meditation.
Four Words: "Is that my Jacket?" In Age of Ultron, there was a scene where, right after Wanda and Pietro ally with the Avengers, Natasha notices that Wanda is wearing her jacket. She comments but mostly rebuffed because "flying city." Allegedly, there was supposed to be follow up scene in Endgame where Wanda states, "I still have her jacket." What I like about the two scenes is that it would have been both a callback and a humanizing of these superhumans as it shows, in a relatable example, the loss that they all share with Natasha's death.
Totally agreed, but only if it's actually going to be developed later on. This causes a problem because Miles Morales would only be involved through something like "Into the Spiderverse" and wouldn't exist in the same universe/dimension as the Tom Holland Spiderman.
Maybe it was better left cut Cause if they did that then people wouldn't stop asking for miles in the movies There's nothing wrong with miles being in the movies but I feel like he should be saved for later on At least finish the spider man triogly and let spider man have the spot light instead of having miles take it and be the focus of someone else's story
Not sure I would've liked the one they cut but I do agree that they should've had a scene with Banner and Hulk figuring it out between them. Maybe even mid fight. Like Banner's arm transforms to hulk arm but his body stays Banner while they're arguing and Banner transforms into Hulk limb by limb during the fight until at the end he wins the fight and is full hulk body smart Hulk
Totally! That Hulk scene along with Doctor Strange shot, after Stark snapped his fingers. Strange knew this would happen and you can see the pain in his eyes. He feels terrible for Tony.
I see why they cut the Hulk scene. It sounds like a good idea out of context, but the somber conclusion of that movie is really muddled when Bruce and Hulk finally get a satisfying resolution like five minutes earlier.
Yeah, it might have been better as a flashback in Endgame but I can't really picture where it would slot in. It's not strong enough to carry the opening, which was phenomenal.
It would've been cool in endgame after they decide to go see hulk, it shows a flashback of a few weeks earlier of the same conversation but happening in the lab (where hulk said it happened) it would've been a cool visual, like in ragnarok. banner says something, then hulks out and hulk answers then shrinks and banner answers, and they destroy the lab in the process.
I feel like that would make the ending even better because, then, the lose of everyone and Bruces confusion would have made it even sadder considering his new form and how happy he should be.
Tbh, I'd would've wanted Yinsen to be in Tony's "Soul Stone" segment, there's a pic of it that goes: Tony walking up and seeing Yinsen. Yinsen telling him that he didn't waste his life, not a second of it. With Tony replying, "Thank you for saving it". Tbh, I feel that would've had hella impact and probably "fit" better than Tony's daughter.
I would've loved this. It would've been interesting to see Tony walking up in the soul realm to Yensin and his family. Stark says "Your family is beautiful. I'm glad you made it back to them." Yensin then replies, "Ahh! The Great Tony Stark, tell me, have you wasted your life?" Tony chuckles as he gazes off to the side then responds, "I didn't, and I have only you to thank for it. Thank you."
In the kneeling scene, I felt more for Cap. His ongoing relationship with Tony, their bickering but strong friendship, and we see Captain America not only kneel, but it almost looks like he is falling to his knee, like he is really unable to stand and seem strong, when in actuality he just lost a great friend of his.
You know, I really like that you actually include the deleted scenes. Some other channels just describe what happens and don’t even show the scenes. Props to you man.
@@osmanyousif7849 Granted, although I really like the Yinsin idea. I realize it wouldn't make sense to people joining the series late. But good grief, his daughter wasn't even dead!
It's a god's gift that scene was cut. It would have been better if little Morgan was there instead of the older version. It's very creepie and it doesn't remotely hurt like it should. I think if they made Stephen open a portal to let Morgan meet her dad one last time with Happy beside her...it would have shattered everyone's heart and would have been bittersweet.
I would've loved to see a flash back of the trauma Stephen experienced when he lost his sister, which inspired him to become a doctor and be terrified of failure. It was apparently recorded but never even shown as a deleted scene. I'd kill for it to show up in a later movie or revealed in a deleted scene
not just that but the scene makes it look so easy, you don't just talk with the hulk for 5 minutes and then come to terms and that's it, it had to be through many experiments in the years after the snap...
@@mjdmjd02 Just wish they showed that. While I agree this life altering convo might have been too short, the sudden appearance in Endgame was WAY too "nothing at all".
8:45 I also love how Thor chooses not to smash his cup when earlier he did it without thinking. It shows how he cares about Earth and wants to be more like him. It's a first glimpse of how this Thor will continue to change as we see in Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame
The “Take a knee for Tony” scene made you ‘tear up’? At that point in the movie I’m already bawling in honor of one of the single greatest characters ever written, how are you only tearing up?
I usually consider most mcu deleted scenes as background canon. It’s always cool to see ones that flesh out the characters like the hulk scene. It was a huge shock for endgame but there’s nothing stopping that scene from playing out at some point before they left wakanda. The ones I don’t consider canon are any that make plot holes or kill off characters that don’t die in the final cut but I guess those can now be honorary what if stories? Either way it’s always cool to see what they come up with
@@osmanyousif7849 I honestly was never a fan of the "ship" the film makers were going with between them. It always felt weird and awkward. Maybe it's because I'm not a huge fan of the way Ruffalo plays the Banner character compared to how well the other members of the cast seem to fit as their respective characters. However, I definitely think that all 3 snaps should've had a corresponding soul realm vision scene. If they had don't this, then I believe it would've made sense for banner to see Nat, but keep the vision to himself. Tony, on the other hand, has more than 1 character that could make sense in his vision. You could make a case for him seeing, most obviously, Morgan. But you could also make great cases for Yensin from the first movie and also his father. Both of these characters didn't live to see what Tony would do in the later parts of his life while Morgan will grow up knowing his sacrifice.
one of my favorite deleted scenes from the avengers (one that wasnt show in the video) is the one with wanda maximoff & vision vs the black order in infinity war. the way they displayed the black order truly shows how terrifying they are, and how lizzie and paul looked very scared. i can kinda see why they cut it out of the film but i wish it could've stayed in infinity war. def one of my favorite deleted scene
I've never even heard of that Hulk scene before. I would have loved to see that played out. I also love that Thor scene from Dark World. It shows so much emotion and you really get a sense of what Thor's feeling with that small little scene.
They really missed out on Hulk having a epic moment coming out last second against his fight with Cull Obsidian. Thinking about it just made me have goosebumps.
Loki's deleted scenes from the Thor movie will always be the ones I wish were in the MCU the most. They gave his character depth and made him out to be a complex person. When I first watched the film, I thought Loki was just evil and killed Odin (re: the throne room scene's sinister framing/lighting). I wish we could have seen him being handed Gungnir and his mother giving her blessing.
Banner has two personality inside him, the smart banner and the childish hulk. When they suddenly revealed professor hulk I was waiting for the story on what happened to the childish hulk. In endgame, only banner is present, he is the hulk but he's not the childish hulk everybody started to love. Its really sad that we never had the chance to know what exactly happened to him...
I wish they would have kept a little of Hulk's anger. Like the scene when we first see Professor Hulk and the kids want a selfie with him. I think he should have shown anger when antman changed his mind and didn't want to get his picture taken. A hint that he incorporated some of hulk's personality and now his Banner personality isn't quite as chill as it seemed before. Also, have him show some anger in the end fight scenes. Some indication somewhere that hulk's personality isn't gone completely!
Banner has countless personalities inside him . He has a personality disorder ,which they don’t really touch on much in the movies. There’s professor hulk, Savage Hulk (the child like one), green scar, Savage grey hulk, Joe Fixit, devil hulk , kluh, mindless hulk, etc. He’s even got personalities that haven’t even been described in the comics yet. And Banner is able to talk to all of them. And they talk to each other as well.
Man thank you so much for the Black Panther deleted scene. I've never saw it. Such a huge loss. I would've loved for the kneeling scene to be in EG. Don't even get me started on Smart Hulk. Hats off to you, I didn't see a bunch of these. Got yourself a new sub.
Thank you for actually showing the scenes and not just telling what the scenes were like some other people do. I actually haven’t seen some of these before so thank you for that
Kneeling is definitely some meta moment. I'm glad it's out like why would anyone kneeling to Tony like for a stranger. Like I get it if it's the Avenger main team. But for the rest of them makes no sense. That's why the funeral scene is more fitting.
Completely agree with your picks! Only other one to add is the replacement for the "race to see who can sacrifice themselves first" scene in Endgame between Hawkeye and Widow on Vormir. I cannot see why such a great scene got left on the cutting room floor.
I'd never seen that Thor scene before. I would have liked to see it included becuase it makes the Warriors Three more than just Thor's disposable friends. It shows how much Volstagg (a father of 15 in the comics) loves children and is an enthusiastic storyteller.
Can you please cast spiderman, his villains and the others (mj, black cat, ned, etc), for a universe where he has been spiderman for a while like you did with batman and in the spiderman ps4 game. It would be really cool and I'd love to see your take on this
3:48 well it actually was his fault he actually orchestrated for it to happen, but Tony knew what he was getting himself into and would do it 100x over so everyone else could live
I wanna see the original climax of infinity war in wakanda, heard thers a deleted version where all the Avengers are pining thanos down including the hulk, a part is in the trailer where thers that money shoot of all the Avengers running with hulk
The Smart Hulk scene in Infinity War was kept in the movie for a long time, judging from released toys. Quite a few companies (Hasbro, Funko, LEGO and so on) released something showing Hulk burst out of a damaged Hulkbuster.
I'm still pissed they robbed Bruce/Hulk of their moment in IW. It was such a perfect arc to the internal struggle they had for several previous movies. On top of that, Hulk was a core Avenger; they really did him dirty.
Honestly the mentality between Hulk and Banner can be such an interesting concept to explore. Like really explore. And while I can’t say I am 100% happy with the direction they took with Hulk in Infinity War and Endgame, ultimately I think where he ended up in Endgame could be a good way to end his character and his struggles. I mean Hulk used to be someone so heavily feared, and neither Hulk nor Banner were exactly comfortable living with each other. But the idea that someone who used to be so feared by many, can now go to a simple coffee shop and have kids approach him for a photo, I mean surely that’s gotta feel personal for him. And Hulk, who Banner once thought was a curse, was actually the one to help revive all the victims of the snap, man conceptually that’s a good journey for the character. But the biggest complaint is we didn’t see that journey. It doesn’t mean that journey doesn’t exist, but the audience hasn’t seen it. It’s like that common writing lesson people always say, show don’t tell. The main idea with the time skip in Endgame is to show how everyone is on a different path now. It shows how big of a change the last five years have been for everyone. So Professor Hulk was first show in a “boom, didn’t expect that, did ya?” kind of way. Which I guess makes sense. But in doing so, that story is kinda left out. So I think the best way to tell that story is through a Disney+ Hulk series. I’m thinking of it taking place after Infinity War, but before Endgame. So he starts off after Thanos was killed, where everyone is at their lowest lows and everyone has gone their separate ways. So the story is more focused on a personal Banner and Hulk story, instead of a big grand Avengers superhero action story. After watch (a very little bit of) I Know This Much is true, I can see that Mark Ruffalo is able to deliver in a deep dive psychological story. Which is very necessary for a story about two different entities such as Banner and Hulk, focusing on a more internal struggle. We get to see Banner more as Banner, and Hulk more as Hulk. In the end, we see how Bruce and Hulk come to the agreement of merging together, and what that exactly means for them. And, if they wanna introduce mutants, perhaps he can come across a certain Wolverine while he’s on the run as the Hulk. Just maybe? A little fan service / set up for future stories won’t hurt, right?
Are you kidding! I've never seen that one with Banner talking to Hulk. That really should have been left in, it's perfect. Not only as a way of giving him a solid arc but it could have been one of those things you don't know you wanted to see 'til you see it. Banner actually having an argument with his other half and both of them reaching an understanding.
@@KINGCUZ51773 Movie came out before & taking a knee was also a peaceful way of protesting for black rights after the g. floyd incident, as many soccer players in europe did it for eaxample.
Their deleted scenes are so Awesome... I Kinda love how bruce and hulk got combined up.. from the deleted scene from Avengers infinity war.. Thanks for showing us from those Amazing deleted Marvel's scenes
there’s a scene from ragnarok of an extended Thor and Bruce convo and i love it so much! also i love the first scene of tony and peter’s reunion that came before the one in the movie. it’s so cutee
every scene with a new interaction is always welcome. For example there is a storyboard in the endgame final battle when Star Lord and Cap fight together, and a combo between Groot Rocket and Spiderman
So, I had a weird moment watching this, since my gf and I have been rewatching the films onD+ lately, and so far the Black Widow scene in Winter Soldier and the Dark World scene are in the D+ versions of the films. Maybe they’re going back and adding some of these smaller scenes now as gifts back to rewatches or something
HOLY SHIT!!!!!! (((((Tears))))) the death of Tony cut scene has me absolutely crying in my bed. Woooooooooow. Glad I got to see this. Now rewatching the movie helps me realize at this point just how much of a fan I am of Iron Man. I mean I always want him to win. When watching the movie without this scene, it's kinda not believable. I think I was more shocked than anything and told myself "I mean hey it's just a movie". But this clip? When Black Panther knelt? (Man I can't even get through this comment I need windshield wipers) And how Rhodey won't even look? I don't think I would've made it out of this scene during the original script without missing what comes after this. I would've been crying in the theaters. Just amazing cut piece, the director controlled the way we felt at this moment to prepare us for the get back.
I think it would be good if they re-did the Tony and Morgan scene in the soul stone(or something similar) when she was older and actually had experience as a hero. Because let’s be honest, most likely she will eventually take the role of Iron Woman or Iron Heart. It could be a great emotional moment for her, especially if we get to know her after a while. Plus it would be a great throwback to the man who started it all. As for how they would be able to do this, the only thing I can think of is time travel or getting the remnants of the soul stone and (un)intentionally going to the moment right after Tony Sacrificed himself through it. As the Russo brothers did confirm in an interview that the stones aren’t completely gone, just turned into atoms scattered throughout the universe like Thanos said. Another is just through someone who can do magic like the Scarlet Witch or Dr.Strange potentially. There are probably other ways but those are the most prominent in my mind as of now.
Really wish they would’ve extended the stinger from Captain Marvel into the beginning of Endgame. It would’ve tied in Cap shaving and not surprised by the shaking and Carol floating the Benatar in, how Carol even knew to look for Tony, and woulda just been an interesting interaction.
The Endgame scene would have really actually made me feel sadness. I think when I watched it, one of my complaints was they never made you pause to feel the loss of anyone, not even Ironman. The funeral scene didn't feel as impactful because it felt like we skipped a step. And that severely impacted my love for it. Now knowing there was a scene before it makes sense. It felt like there was a deleted scene and I don't think that's ever something that should be obvious.
Everyone kneeling for Tony as he died definitely should have been left in. Such a visual experience and in a way adds so much more to the scene. How the one who was supposedly "too selfish" gave up his life to save everyone else, and everyone recognized that
I wish they didn't cut out the scene in winter soldier, that explained why cap seemingly just randomly abandons his new suit and then goes to the museum to steal his old one, the deleted scene is like 30 seconds long and explains that hydra had a tracker in it, its such a short scene but made a huge plot hole in on of my favorite mcu movies and it aggravates me
The kneeling scene what I love is that it's Hawkeye who goes down first like not much of clints relationships with other characters other than nat is explored and I think it just shows how hurt he is that for him to get his family back tony had to sacrifice himself and so his chance at family that he fought so hard to keep with the constant reminders about how to do the snap
The kneeling scene was EPIC! WHY cut that?! A king, a wizard, a freaking god... all kneeling to show RESPECT for what this regular man just did. Amazing.
