Oh yeah, he definitely was. I remember he had a channel or something where the username was pooplicker. When he started gaining popularity and doing more science, he become more serious. Over time his old personality seeped out
I mean that was what he was in 2012. Food smashers was in 2009. One of my first ever subscriptions was to Vsauce because he was so different than anyone else in 2012 on yt
My favorite part of this is that the name "Vsauce" was randomly generated, meaning Michael didn't have any name in mind. He just knew he *didn't* want to name the channel Video Game Nation.
Bro your pfp and your humour really reminded me of techno like that's something techno would say and ngl that kinda made me tear up.... You made my day man :)
I still revisit Bearded Nun once in a while. Shout-out to Mark Douglas, I miss his humour. Thank you for the years of entertainment, fun and knowledge Michael! Cheers from Greece!
"A company asked me to pitch them a show…" That setup felt like starting the Titanic movie with the ship snapping in half and never once mentioning the iceberg.
definitelly, as far as I know a lot of companies saw what he can bring - youtube included. I wish to sit down with him to hear all about his creative journey
@@ThatGamerDude9000Yeah, it would be so successful FSN would be Food Smashers Network. Coming up next is Food Smashers, followed by Food Smashers, and then Vsauce.
@@isahak7 who knows. There's like 2 other vsauce channels hosted by kevin and Jake. Plus a channel as big as vsauce is made up of more people than just the face of it i.e Michael.
Sometimes you need to step out of the sanity, in order to gain knowledge, lessons, and acceptance (ya ik this comment is nun butt jks and i said the obv)
For me it was my math teacher who used to tell life stories and funny stuff, but he also taught physics before joining our institute, so basically it was a physica teacher in my case 😅
@@williamowens2063he was wearing a bandana like in that episode of The Office when Michael decided to be "Prison Mike" and his name is Michael as well.
yeah but what i mean is he saw it on this person does not exist and thought "what if the v stood for video games, that would be pretty fitting for that video game channel"
I love half of Vsauce is genius-level and often existential discussions and the other half is him just doing random things. One moment he’s a college professor, and the next he’s your weird neighbor from down the street.
