My grand dad was in the nevada experiments.. when he got home he started drinking. Before he died he told us about it. He saw his best friends skin come off like a fucking raincoat because they told them "do not look at the blast but when the wave washes over exit your hole and march towards the PILLAR. Stationed in different locations they received different levels of radiation separated only by luck his fate didnt match his friend's. It hurt seeing him say it and it made more sense when my more mature brain relived and redigested what he had said about what we do to each other. "You only have to wait to see it with your own eyes" 😢❤ its real its coming and we're in the path. I hope his participation made us more resistant to radioactive material but im a realist and i know my own skin will come off like a jacket one day... Im just upset about our hand. We dont need to do this... Its a real thing.. life. And we're wasting it. We destroy things that effect a landscape like beavers and ants and a million other species. simply for living because they think that their effects will hurt things in the wake of their existence... Why haven't we killed ourselves off then? I am embarrassed to be a human. Show me how to not be one of us and i promise to live like that but i wont die because people taught me to be evil. Ive learned from what people tell me to do. And i learned im only a tool and ive learned that i am absolutely devastated to have been born into such an uncaring dangerous race. Myself included. Im sorry mother ❤
I never thought of sonder as negative before. In my mind, it was understanding what a rich tapestry of life we take part in... I never contemplated a negative aspect before, only perhaps that I fail to recognize it often, that I live separate from all those lives and unaffected by them shut away inside myself. But really all things need an ebb and flow. Biology often demands we see ourselves as protagonists to be able to make sound judgments and increase our own ability to flourish, but as creatures that are social we also need to recognize that others are doing the same, having their own human experience.
