THANK YOU! Just bought this bike and was trying to take the fairings off to tint the turn signals, couldn't for the life of me figure out how that section came off, even went to the dealership and they didn't know, wouldn't tell me, but yes, this was a life saver as it's middle of riding season and I want this what I thought to be a quick project done.
Hello, I just got new fairings but they did not come with those rubber pins you talked about in the video, and I can’t seem to find them anywhere can you please tell me where I can buy some?
Scott this video is the closest thing I could find to what I needed. You mentioned talking a lot. I think it would have been great to put all the talk before or after the plastic removal. It made following along super difficult for just the fairing stuff
Hello Scott, did you happen to figure out what are the parts number for the those cowling you removed. I just recently drop mines 😭😭😭 a majority of the cowls got scuffed and damaged on the right hand side (when riding on).
Do you have a local Kawasaki dealership near you? I would let them figure out the color codes if that's what you're looking for. I used a website provided by Clawson Motorsports. They have a online OEM parts fiche
Can you please do another brief up close video on how to remove that side fairing? I need to take mine off to get to the wire harness that the ignition assembly plugs into. I have the same exact bike and a few bastards stole it from my apartment complex a few weeks ago, thankfully I got it recovered the next day but only after they drilled out my ignition and seat lock......AND painted my stickers pink....I've got everything ready to go I just can't find where to plug my new ignition harness into
ok so i bought a used 2020 and the fairing has a crack in it from previous owner. the bike only has 2k miles. But i am real nervous to remove it to repair the crack. if u r sitting on the bike it is the right side. Or non kickstand side. Do u have any tips
That is a rough situation considering that you have to use force at some stages to remove it. I would suggest having a second person around for extra hands for support.
Hey man I got a 2020 zx6r and the right side faring where it meets the headlight there is a slight gap, not like that on left side Any thoughts bike is brand new never been taken apart.
