In this video you will see a step by step how to remove BOTH front AND rear wheels and then how to re install them after a tire change. I decided to go with the Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tires for 2 reasons. 1- I want better handling on the twistys and 2- I want a good grippy tire to learn how to wheelie on. I have searched around the interwebs and I just cannot find a video that shows how to remove both wheels, swap rubbers and re install both wheels all in the same video. So I decided to make one. If this video helped you out in any way please subscribe and like. That is the best way to show me your appreciation.
Special thanks to my local Bike shop for the tire swap and balance!

Did anyone else notice that the front wheel was installed backwards? ABS ring should be on the left side. Tire will have an arrow on the sidewall showing direction of rotation.

Haha. Long time ago my guy. Watch some more videos cause I had to go buy a code reader and everything to clear that code 😅

@danlafon3265 Месяц назад
Thanks, I was wondering if that would throw a code or just light the abs warning.

@danlafon3265 threw a code and I couldn't start the bike until I cleared it. 🙄

Thanks for the video and info about the code. I will be doing tires as soon as my tools get here.

Invest in some captive spacers, so they dont fall out when installing the wheels

Hey Benny, can you make a video on how to bleed the brakes? I have the same bike as you literally I just don’t know how to believe the brakes.

I'm surprised there isn't a video of bleeding brakes out there. I would but I didn't need to when I changed tires. I was able to just pull the calipers off without removing the break lines. I don't really want to purposely pull my lines just to re do them if that makes sense. When I need new pads then I'll probably shoot a video of new pads and bleeding lines.

Don't you have to align the front calipers before torquing them?

Wish I would had this video a while ago! I still struggle getting the rear wheel back in sometimes lol it's such a pain in the ass. Those stock tires will definitely wheelie though. Lotta stunters will run harder tires so that they last longer for rolling burnouts/other stuff. What gear are you trying to wheelie in? Also if you get serious with the wheelies, you're gonna want to buy at least a stunt stay. The Sic Shop has them for the 2019-2023 636s, I haven't found them anywhere else. Otherwise your ram air intake WILL eventually crack. Ask me how I know lol.

Great advice. I tried hard to wheelie in first and second. I mean there is a fear factor in play but my rear tire was just slipping. I haven't even had time to try wheelies with the new diablo tires. Next summer I suppose.

@@Bennyrogue Definitely take your time with them. Biggest piece of advice I can give you is to start out in 2nd gear and slip the clutch, don't 'dump it' like everyone says. 1st gear will scare the fuck of you. This lets RPMs build up to actually get your front wheel up, then stay on the throttle. Your first instinct when it comes up is going to be to let off the throttle, but what you NEED to do is catch it with your back brake. Your back brake WILL bring it down. Also you'll feel like the bike is way higher than it is, but balance point is UP there. Balance point is where the bike literally feels like it "sits" in this angle and feels weightless and you can keep your throttle in one place and the nose doesn't dip down. Most of the time you'll be "chasing" wheelies out, meaning the nose will constantly drop AS your rpms build.

Did u know u didn’t need to move the chain adjuster screws to take off the tire
@justinlaberge6580
@justinlaberge6580 3 месяца назад
Just hit the axle with the dead blow and pull the axle out, roll the tire forward, undo the chain and come right out

@justinlaberge6580 information needed before I made the video haha. I'll remember that for next time. Haha.
